I expected a delicious, crispy chicken. The skin was rubbery and honestly very unappetizing. It was really disappointing.

Dear Laurie Mc Kenzie - We are really sad while reading your note, as we want all our guests to have the best experience with us. Our birds are all heritage breeds, and therefore very rustic in texture, taste and look. It is true that meat offer more in shewing than a regular chicken. Food was wonderful. Venue is beautiful. Staff was really accommodating and lovely. I will recommend to others-but ask that you don’t assume that a single diner wants to sit at the bar near the kitchen. High tops are not always ideal for diners-and single women don’t always want to eat in the company of others for privacy and safety reasons.

Amazing service and the food was absolutely incredible. My favorites were the soup, the quarter chicken and the macaroni and cheese. We also found this restaurant to be family friendly for our kids ages 3-9.

Portions could have been smaller and in turn cheaper - poultry should have been juicier - dishes were too dry , overcooked

Wonderful dinner with friends. We ordered a Bresse chicken which came with four sides. We chose mashed potatoes, a salad, mac n cheese, and vegetable medley. All of which were delicious and were a perfect complement to the chicken.

The food was exceptional but the service made a lot of uncommon errors for a restaurant of this level. It also could have done with a couple less tables. Fine Dining should not mean literally rubbing elbows with your fellow diners.

We were anticipating that Le Coq & Fils would be good, but it exceeded our expectations! Hands down the best chicken and mushroom soup we have ever had. Service was wonderful, and loved the added touch of chocolate at the end. We will be back when we are in Paris again!

The food was amazing and the plates are well prepared . The plate even though was big enough to get really full was missing something special . OThe staff is not very personal and the place is not value for your money .

What wonderful chicken! We are Neymar’s of roasted chicken at a traditional Paris bistro and this place goes above and beyond. Definitely worth the trip up the hill. Side dishes are amazing too- don’t miss the Mac and cheese or potato puree!
