Excellent
The food was absolutely delightful! The restaurant is really nice, the waiter was also nice and gave us excellent advices about the wine. The Chef also came to see us at the end of the meal to know what we thought of the food, and he was also a pretty pleasant person. We loved our time there, everything was perfect and clean, this restaurant is a wonderful memory. We will surely come back!
Maybe we just did not get lucky, but the food was not impressive at all. Even the (hard) bread was a miss!
parfait
This restaurant was a real delight. Modern, creative French cuisine at prices which are very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. The four of us had the "4 service" tasting menu which was superb and included more than one "amuse bouche", a pre-dessert and a dessert. And the wine list offers good pairings of wine. The servers were cordiale and with a sense of homour, easily accomodating those whose French was not as strong. I have this place on my list for a revisit!
Lovely food at a great price. Serving staff very friendly and efficient. Good wine selection.
A fantastic place! We tried going for dinner but could not get a booking so went for lunch instead. We were the only people in the restaurant (it's quite small) and rather than feeling awkward, the staff made it feel very special - which is a skill. The food was fantastic, the wine recommendations were spot on and the value is really good, considering the quality of the food and service. If I find myself in Bordeaux again, I'll definitely go back to Le Davoli.
The food included in the four course menu was excellent. The servers were helpful and suggested nice wines to pair with our meal. The setting was elegant and comfortable. The four course dinner was 54 E per person. Given the high quality of food, this was a good value and we enjoyed our dining experience very much. We highly recommend this restaurant for those looking for delicious and refined food!
Fabulous food. So glad we went there. Our best meal in Bordeaux!
Really good Michelin recommended restaurant right off Place St Pierre. The menu for Euro42 was three course with a choice of two for each course. All were great.
Lovely restaurant with great ambiance. Friendly attentive staff who took great pride in explaining the dishes. Food was beautifully executed and would highly recommend this restaurant
Absolutely wonderful food, deserves a Michelin star. We had the 3 course pre fix and everything was inventive and delicious. The desserts were especially ingenious and tasty. Highly recommend. So glad we found this gem.
Sublime yet outstanding.
Really beautiful from start to finish! Well worth the cost! Tiny menu bit lots of little extras too! Lovely, cosy, quiet and incredibly tasty food! Not tiny portions either! A really lovely experience!
Excellent Service delicious food! We will be back next year!
Even completely full we got excellent service and we had a really enjoyable evening.
Lovely space, co fortable, attractive, nice decor. Food very well presented and a creative successful range of flavours and textures. Size portion perfect. Amuse Bouche delicious, a nice feeling of warmth and generosity.
What a delightful lunch at Le Davoli! We had the three course menu and every bite was delicious. Our starter was a generous portion of foie gras served with a tomato confit and the most interesting tomato sorbet which tasted like a caprese. I had hake and my friend had the duck, both perfectly cooked. Desert was raspberry sorbet, lime sorbet and coconut mouse. Accompanied by wonderful wines recommendations. Staff was courteous and very helpful with our rudimentary French. It’s in the pedestrian zone and there is some street construction but worth a few minutes walk. I heartily recommend!
Very lovely restaurant, but not ideal for a vegetarian!
Excellent
Food was very creative but inconsistent. Desserts were confusing and the weakest part Loved the amuse bouches; and presentation
