We had a wonderful evening with fabulous food and ambience. We chose the chefs taster menu, and had one of our best meals ever!

We showed up early for our 8:00PM reservation and were seated immediately. Service provided both English and French speaking servers. Unfortunately, there was no wine paring with the meal and I believe the request was confused with house wine by the glass, which is not a big deal. It was local wine, which I was used to, in both red and white. Food started showing up promptly and was very satisfied with the depth of flavours provided in each dish. Exactly what I was hoping to get from a Michelin Star restaurant.


However, while the food was excellent and even exceeded that from other restaurants of this caliber, the service was a progressively worse through the evening While very polite, it appeared confused and... non existent at times. At one point, for aprox. 5 minutes, there were no servers or staff to be seen in the dining area. I failed to get the attention of passing staff when they returned. I am no snob and appreciate limited staff, but not really acceptable in a Michelin Star resteraunt.

the products, dishes and execution was excellent! as good as last season.
sadly I need to admit that the service team wasn´t as efficient/engaged/friendly/quick as the team from last year.
it felt like they were only doing the "minimum syndicale" as we say in French, which is little sad. it may also explain why some of the dishes arrived almost cold, which is sad when it comes to Julien (and his team)´s work.

We went for the 7 course “surprise” tasting menu for lunch.

All of the courses were executed very well And very tasty. the combination was very fish based of snails(not fish but similar taste in my opinion) scallop, trout, osyter which was nice however the sauces were all very cream/butter heavy. I feel that substituting one of these cream options for a salad/vegetable based with one course would have allowed greater variation in the courses.

My beef course was not cooked properly and had obvious blood vessels however this was rectified very quickly.

The amouse bouche and petite fours were also delicious.

We drank a delicious (and cheapest) sancere between two of us with kir royale as an aperitif.

I’d definitely come back but probably for the 4 course lunch menu.

Great restaurant choice.
We decided for the tasting menu - chef surprise - and we were not disappointed! Be ready to spend about 3.5 hours but the pace was right and the portions perfectly sized so we could actually finish the deserts ????
Delicious food, beautiful presentations!

We went there for dinner, had a great time, the place is lovely. We had the ¨Secret¨ 9 course Chef´s meal. Very interesting dishes. I would recommend better handling of the time elapsed between dishes. Over all it took us over 3 hours to get to finish de last dish (dessert). Too long, half of the table was either sleepy or satisfied after the first 90 minutes.

First time I eat in such a nice restaurant that you can reach by ski! :)
Compared to other 1 michelin stars restaurants that I tried in the region, I would say that Le Farçon is below. However, for a lunch at 40 euros, I think it is the best quality-price ever.
The menu was traditional yet modern, we all loved the first course and the desert. The main was a bit salty.
The service is young and friendly.

Nous avons voulu revenir au Farçon pour un nouveau diner d'anniversaire entre amis et nous avons été à nouveau enchantés par la qualité des plats et des petites touches supplémentaires depuis les mises en bouches jusqu'au dessert. Ainsi que par la qualité du service et la gentillesse du personnel. Cadre chaleureux et en même temps intime.
