I read the reviews of this restaurant and chose it because it seemed to fit the bill. "Fantastic" was one of the adjectives used, so my hopes were high.


The building is full of character but, frankly, that's about all that made me go "wow". The prices are high for this area and the standards locally are very high. I found it difficult to find something I liked on the short menu. For someone who has an aversion to marine products, dressing meat with "sea spinach" and similar adornments doesn't work for me.


The male server seemed to be in a hurry to get us in and out - indeed the experience lasted a mere 90 minutes. He was dismissive of my choice of wine and did not offer it to me for tasting,


My wife enjoyed both courses, the veal cutlet was one of the best she has eaten. My meal was "correcte" but not special. The dessert (cafe gourmande) was very good.


The experience was nice but not "Fantastic" and I'm not sure when I'll go back.
