When we first entered the restaurant, we were met with a warm hospitality and friendly atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and genuine service minded. The food was excellent and the atmosphere, romantic. It’s a pity I don’t live in Paris or I would come back often to this wonderful place. Thank you.

Its been over 10 years since i was at Le Fumoir but not disappointed! lovely atmosphere, good service (just a bit chilly sometimes with the main door open all the time) and the food was really excellent - carpaccio scallops and guinea fowl with delicious purée and smoked red beets... we had no room for dessert. Will be returning soon

We came to Le Fumoir for dinner on the recommendation of a Parisian friend and we were not disappointed! The food is beautiful and an authentic french dining experience. The service was excellent as well, with adept waiting staff who are obviously well trained. The Menu allows for you to pick and choose if you want either 2 or 3 courses (€40 or €44), with a nice mix of both meat and fish options. The wine and cocktail list is quite large and offers good regional wine selections. From the menu we chose 2 entrees (marinated herrings on spiced bread and sea bream ceviche in apple & milk dressing with hazelnuts) and 2 main courses (oven roasted pork loin with apple cider sauce and Guinea fowl with smoked red beets and hot red wine dressing). Each dish was a delicious, combining subtle and interesting flavour combinations. Our only regret is that as all the serves were quite decent sized portions, we unfortunately could not fit in dessert! This is a seriously good Parisian restaurant that is highly recommended.

Something was lost today. We arrived on time and were seated quickly. The appetizer (a white asparagus salad) was really good. Someone dropped the ball at that point. Our main course didn’t arrive for nearly 30 minutes. The couple next to us, who arrived after we did, were served first. Then my main, a Navarin (French lamb stew) was really ho-hum, and featured meat with fat and gristle, and a sauce which didn’t have much taste. It just wasn’t very good, and nothing like what I’m used to with that dish. It was really off. Le Fumoir is normally very good. I’ve been going there for ten years. They just somehow lost it today, and I have every hope that when I go next things will be back to normal.

This is one of my favorites - and after 2 years of Covid they are are least as good as before. Excellent service, have to come back to try a few more things on the menu of the moment as choosing tonight’s dishes was hard - too many options ;)!! The Oysters and the Chicken risotto were just right, and our waiter’s kind and attentive service made this an evening to remember - we will, for all the right reasons :)!!

For the location prices reasonable. Just beside a metro and a stones throw from the Louvre. Ask for a table in the bibliothque if you want to be able to chat with each other.The bigger room is lively and seems to be very popular. I would love to return.

Nice place and good food for both lunch or dinner. I like to go to this restaurant but I would go more regularly if they’d change their menu a little bit more frequently.
