We came to le Garnier as a recommendation from family that have been to Paris before. We really enjoyed the seafood platter. We also ordered the 1kg beef rib and lobster (hot). The lobster was AMAZING. The beef was good but nothing extraordinary I would highlight as a part of my trip.
Staff were friendly and they spoke English. The restaurant ambiance is also quite nice.
We actually didn't find the place TOO expensive for the quality of the food. Don't mess around with seafood and ruin your trip because you want to save a few euros!!!
It's a definite recommendation to come here. But I would suggest to eat their hot seafood dishes and if you're a meat lover, get their rib eye! It looked delicious as they brought it to the other customers. We will probably come back again if we come back to Paris :)
Enjoy :)

Great service. Food good but could have been hotter. Pity about the scaffolding outside but these things have to be sometime. Very nice oval table which was especially good because we were a group of 5 which can be difficult.to seat in confined spaces. It meant that no-one sat on their own and we had that family feeling.

Good bourgois restaurant offering classic French food "with a twist".
