The food was really good. A bit confusing experience for non-french speakers. Because they seem to be un-confident about their English. So when they present the food, they just throw some ingredients in English and run away saying ‘enjoy’. Which made me feel a bit rushed. Also the place gets pretty loud when the tables get full.

It is such a great experience, The food is great, portion was perfect. Restaurant is beautiful, classy and comfortable. Atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. We have huge appreciation for the service staffs, especially Yoann who spoke perfect English and Moustapha who taught us some French language. We had an amazing time.

Our experience at Le Gourmet de Sèze was the best dining of our trip including good places in Rome and Milan. Excellent staff, inspiring food and an assortment of tastes that are all very good. Great value and great food come together here!

The restaurant was really nice and the food was excellent . We had the degustation menu and everything was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant EXCEPT for the 2 wait staff that thought they were better than us. They had audacity to accuse me of lying of how many glasses of wine I had! I had one glass of wine that I told the waiter that I didn’t like and preferred a different on the next glass . He took away my first glass even though I told him I was going to drink it anyway. He gave me another one but at the end charged the first one that he snootily took away. When I told them that they charged me incorrectly, they corrected ithe bill but told me I was lying. I was really offended by then. What a snot!!The experience of food can be marred by poor attitudes, and this one definitely did! There are more than enough places to go , don’t go to this one.

One of the best restaurants for me! The food was really good, each dish tasting very special in some ways and very delicious. We had wine accompaniment with our menus and the wines were just lovely. The waiters were attentive, helpful and friendly. Though the restaurant was full, the waiting times were short. Very well managed. All in all, a great evening out!

I found the entire experience too programmed and formulated. Solidly good food. Does it a Michelin-starred? I respectfully beg to differ. It was seriously disappointing. Neither the staff or chef tried to accommodate their guests. If you told the sever that you are lactose-intolerant, why would they you heavily creamy starter and two rounds of yogurt for pre-desert and desert! Was there any communication between the severs and kitchen? This is no way the standard of a fine dining restaurant. Let alone one Michelin-starred establishment. Besides that, the first starter (eggplant) was too salty. And the second starter (langoustine with carrot sauce) was too sweet. And the main (veal) was nothing to brag about! Nothing impressive. Would I recommend this restaurant to my friends and people I know? No, I would not.

Outstanding meal! Our family was in Lyon for American thanksgiving and we were lucky enough to have dinner at Le Gourmet de Seze to celebrate. All courses were outstanding. It was a very special,meal and the price was reasonable. We would definitely recommend. Bernard is extremely talented and the entire staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
