Excellent
The restaurant is really great. A wonderful dinner with quality dishes. Wonderful really. The value for money is really great. I strongly advise this restaurant.
Excellent restaurant. Wonderful service, very tasty food. We recommend 100%. Between the 2 of us we tried the entire menu and liked everything.
After having read so many positive comments on Trip Advisor, we were very disappointed with this restaurant. We found it pretentious, the service was very slow and the food was not good.
EXCELLENT.
Excellent meal. Beautiful design on the plate. Imaginative and not over-the-top. A very, very fair price for their effort which is a welcome appreciation of the client. Bravo and we'll definitely see you again.
Fantastic!!! Just breath taking!
That was our last day in Avignon and it was the best dinner we had here. The food is really top. Foie gras was amazing. Pork cheek was delicious as well. High quality food.
Very good food at a reasonable price and good service!
The quality of the food more than makes up for deficiencies with service and atmosphere
The food was absolutely delicious. The dishes were creative and beautifully presented. We would definitely return. Service was good. Altogether a delight.
Food was very good. The chef had touches of brillance with the cold tomatoe soups and both desserts. But the cod appetizer looked beautiful but was much too salty. The mains one of pork and one of squid were good but not great. A very nice meal.
We need a quiet place to relax and enjoy an excellent lunch before we toured the Palais of the Papes. Le Goût du Jour was perfect! Very close but hidden away so you could escape the tourist crowds. Food was wonderful, beautifully presented and very reasonably price. Highly recommend!
The place is totally recommended. If you eat anywhere is Avignon, eat here. The food was superb along with the excellent service. The price was euro 50 per head whistle the quality was euro 120 per head. We love the lady who owned the restaurant and really appreciated her attention to detail and warm reception.
Excellent food and substantial portions. This is a very busy restaurant but the staff take great care to make diners feel welcome and ensure they are comfortable and not rushed.
We ate a very good quality meal with excellent wine.....staff took time to explain the menu and the ingredients and flavours expected in each dish.
We loved everything about the restaurant, with one exception. When we arrived at 7:30pm, there were clients at two of the ~20 tables, seated far apart. Although other tables for two were available, we were seated right next to one of the seated couples - just inches away. With a low noise level, we could each hear each other’s conversations, and had no privacy. I asked to be moved, but the waiter resisted and I felt awkward insisting. Once the restaurant filled up and there was more background noise, we could talk more freely.
Simply delicious food. For us this little restaurant is a must when visiting Avignon. The 33 euro menu is limited on choice, but quite converted me to squid, when cooked by this chef! Amuse-bouches and starters excellent as usual and beautifully presented, desserts gorgeous, featuring strawberries or apricots. Wine starts at 7 euros a glass, quite pricey.
Excellent food- enjoyed all three courses. I had the fish dish which just melted in my mouth and the flavours were outstanding. Reasonably priced.
Really good meal! We enjoyed our diner.
Best food experience of our holiday, everything was superb. Ambiance, service and food quality were excellent. Best book in advance to avoid disappointment!
