Superb food and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is away from town centre, but worth the effort to find.

We had the tapas, followed by lamb, steak and duck. All were superb, but the duck platter was excellent.

Very charming setting in a quiet corner of Carcasonne. The food was fabulous and reasonable in price. We had a dog with us, and sitting outside it was not a problem.

This is an “off the beaten path” restaurant, but worth the walk or drive. The food selection is varied, and the quality is superb.

Great food. We had lamb and duck and both were cooked perfectly. The restaurant is located in a residential area so don't be surprised as you make you way to it. The upstairs dining room is cost and quaint. I'd recommend eating upstairs or outdoors if the weather is good.

All the dishes we ordered were excellent. The salmon was served with a delicious sauce. The vegetarian platter was full of fresh salad and fruit. We sat inside which has a rough art gallery vibe, but the seats were comfortable and the service was quick and helpful. Overall, it was a very nice lunch - recommended.

This was one of the best meals of our trip to Spain and France. The owner was really friendly & funny and spoke some English so communicating was not a problem. He recommended a fresh zucchini ribbon salad with tomatoes and goat cheese that we shared. It was incredible (all fresh from their garden). My husband had the best duck of his life (I would agree!) and I had an equally delicious veal, all accompanied by amazing wines and delicious desserts. The patio/restaurant is funky and interesting, with interesting art -- not snooty or fancy at all. If you want an outstanding culinary experience, go there. If you want a cheap, quick unmemorable meal, don't go there. If you want to make your taste buds dance, then treat yourself to this amazing restaurant. It was worth every Euro. We spent about $100 and it was completely worth it given all we ate and drank. The restaurant is not in the center of town, but in a quiet neighborhood, so you would never just stumble across it. A+

Outstanding. Good honest food done really well. Great for a couple or a group of friends. Quirky surrounds with some great eclectic finds. Warm welcome Friday m the accomodating hosts. Tucked away in a quiet suburban location this is one of those pleasant finds you want to take friends and family back to. I would go again in a heartbeat.

We wouldn't have found this place on our own so thanks The Fork! We thought the service and food excellent. Succulent cod cooked perfectly, shared a plate of anchovies and red peppers to start. All a la carte which we prefer to a set menu. Quiet neighborhood off the beaten path of the tourist area. Worth it. Still just a 13 minute walk from the train station.

Menu was excellent with several choices for each course. Very different from the more tourist orientated set menu options we had came across during our time in Carcassonne. We did not have starters but I had lamb, sautéed potatoes, sweet potato puree and green beans and side salad. All beautifully, prepared, cooked & presented. My husband had monk fish & yellow pepper on skewers with a creamy savory garlic(not sure) sauce with white rice and the same vegetable selection as mine. He enjoyed this also We both chose tarte citron for desert which was absolutely fantastic with homemade vanilla icecream. We finished with coffee. Saw this restaurant on TripAdvisor and decided to book. Am so glad I did. Best meal of our holiday and would recommend. Wasn't the cheapest but the quality of food and service were excellent. We will return.
