every dish was a surprise. dishes are full of different flavours and textures, and each piece was done perfectly and with care. For example, for the mains - roast pheasant - apart from the bird, the accompanying vegetables were not just accompaniments but works of art in themselves. and the sauce was an infusion which was subtle yet perfect. the waiters were very professional and were able to explain all about the dishes and discuss the ingredients and sources. even for the simplest thing - bread and olive oil - they were of the highest quality, so you can expect what they will do with the dishes.

a dissapointing experience. while the food was at the level of the reputation of the chef and his experience, the rest of the experience was amateurish. The hotel has no atrmosphere, the flowers were dying in the hall, the reception and hall were just inhospitable. The Bar and the Restaurant were just add ons to the hotel. I dont know why this chef choose to work in this Restaurant. The service was poor ( plenty of jokes but not efficient) we still dont know who was the head water. we were in the middle between the kitchen and the door to the terrasse. Its a hotel restaurant with no soul, it was not a pleasant experience. Other than the food ( and thereagain if you didnt like either dishes, there was no way to change even with a supplement) the rest was unwelcoming and felt like eating in a train station. The sommelier was only interested in selling wine so most time was spent with certain clients who had money to spend!!!. He tried to serve us the bottle of wine before the end of the first course. 16/20???

There was a big difference in the Fork offer on their iPhone application and the money we paid at Le jardin. The offer on the application said Menu 80 chf with two starters two main courses two desserts cafe/tea, petit four. The offer in The Fork application never mentioned the price per person is 80 chf. So my husband and I went there and we took the menu considering that we will pay 80 chf plus drinks. The invoice we had to pay was 160 chf + drinks. We were shocked. Then the manager said on The Fork website it was written price per person was 80chf. This sentence was never mentioned on the iPhone application. Anyway it was a big disappointment, we could have ordered one main dish for each and paid less with drinks. It is not the first time we have a disappointment with The Fork. We had almost the same problem at Bistrot de Charlotte. And we were obliged to pay extra because of unclear précisions in their application. I think we will never book again with them.

We were delighted by the food, hight quality, the presentation of the dishes was so pretty that it was sad to eat them, the signature dessert still is one of the attractions on the dessert menu. Service very friendly and competent. Great experience like everytime that we go there. Highly recommended.

From the beginning the service was bad, I do not know if I'm a foreigner !! I made a request for a wine and I was very clear of what I wanted !! When it came to the bill the value of the wine was 3 x more expensive !!! I was very clear when I chose more they came to tell me that I did not have the wine I had ordered and that they served a more expensive wine !! Absurd because they did not warn me before ??? I felt I was cheated !! Please let me know beforehand, it would not be a problem !!!
