Very nice restaurant
Very satisfied, excellent classical alsacienne dishes. Moderat prices and good service. Nice atmosphere. Reservation is recommended. We'll come Back.
Great experience from this little restaurant, it was packed within 30 minutes after we got our table. You have to make reservation in advance and they do offer great service. We enjoyed the forie gras salad and the homemade tiramisu dessert a lot!!!
This restaurant is a food factory, not a French restaurant. The attention for us is pure. Next time I am not recommend for tasty, but for dinner is good.
A very friendly and fun staff. Food is very much local in the sense that it is meat and potato type stuff. Hearty. My group had a mixture of dishes and all were well prepared. I’m a person who prefers a bit lighter cuisine, but their quality of food was very good. Local Pinot was quite good.
Very recommendable restaurant in Strasbourg. Really good food, very friendly crew who make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Even some jokes while serving are not missing! Excellent and very good choice!
The food makes up for everything else. It was very crowded and the staff were rushing around so it felt like they had no time to answer our questions. The quality of the food though was great, we had the veal and beef fillet as mains and the Alsatian pizza as a starter, all was delicious.
Very busy, Redwine too cold and in wrong glasses!
When your server sees that you have left most of your meal uneaten and your knife and fork in the “finished” position, it might prompt an inquiry. No, it prompted a comment from the server that I wasn’t finished. He then turned and walked away. My wife enjoyed her meal more—a fish and shrimp skewer. Average food in an average location. Won’t be returning.
Très bon dîner au restaurant Le Kahn. Excellent service.
Great bistro-type restaurant with exquisite specials and a standard regional menu. The foie grass was good but ser ed a little too cold. The steer steak with a really uniquely prepared wild rice & chorizo sauce as well as the risotto St. Jacques were memorable. Not cheap but good value for your money. And lots of local atmosphere. Small wine list but the Pinot Gris from Joseph Scharsch is a full recommendation. We will definitely return.
We had been their today with 12 people for dinner. We really enjoyed those outstanding delicious food. If I will be back at Strasbourg I had to be their again. Its a place to be
Very satisfied with everything ... but forgot to leave a tip!!!
Went for dinner with my wife. My meal was ok. My wife’s veal was very tough. Hard to cut and difficult to chew. Server never came to check if we were satisfied with our meal. Although she and owner walked by our table quickly several times avoiding eye contact they could see that meat was untouched. Another waiter came by long after we we finished to clear the table and I told him my wife’s meat was inedible and he said nothing - just took dishes away. Fifteen minutes later the owner brought us our bill. When I told him the veal was very tough he said nothing and took the bill away. Came back to say the veal was removed from the bill. No apology. Not another word. Not a great way to handle a problem
We chose Le Kuhn as it was located near our Best Western hotel on Rue Le Kuhn. We wanted to start our stay in Strasbourg with Alsatian specialties. We chose the Alsacien menu, which was a good choice for this. The sausage salad was deliciously prepared, the haxe in red wine sauce tender and tasty, the sauerkraut a little lax. For dessert a successful sorbet in strong fruit brandy (variety ?). Everything harmonized and we had a good start for our Strasbourg stay.
We enjoyed it very well to sit outside of the restaurant and had a very good meal, the typical Flammkuchen, the basic one, was really tasty. The waiter itself was very helpful and funny. Thank you for your good service.
It was very good!
The duck on the special menu was outstanding value for money and really good.. The restaurant was not crowded but very pleasant atmosphere. Overall a really great experience
