We chose this restaurant for a Sunday dinner and we’re not disappointed. Located on a quiet street with pleasant outdoor seating. Menu offered many choices. Service was timely and efficient. All four in our party enjoyed our meal.

A lovely little restaurant close to our apartment. The staff were very friendly and spoke English, which was a great help. The service was very good and the food was tasty and nicely cooked. We would be happy to dine there again.

So great a restaurant! The service this restaurant offers is like coming to a house of your friend, and that’s the most impressive service I have ever gotten in Bordeaux, far beyond the price level it’s actually on. The food is so great, the duck confit is really a surprise to me, with a single fork on it, the bone falls off from the meat and the juice flows right from in between the fibres of the leg of duck, which was amazing. Love it and this is really a great place to sit and chat after a whole day. Thanks for this meal and looking forward to trying more next time!

Highly recommended - a great find in Bordeaux! We very much enjoyed the service that Caitlyn provided at today's lunch. I recommend the duck confit - with fries and salad - and any of the entrees. Our favorite dessert turned out to be café gourmand. On our next visit we hope to try the roasted camembert with honey. Another patron today suggested that we return to Lion de Lilas for it. English is spoken here but the restaurant is mostly patronized by locals.

Friendly staff and nice colorful location close to the pedestrian area. We came there thinking to order the menu, but we realized it is limited to the dishes of the day. So we had two entrées from a la carte (foie gras and camembert rôti - both amazing!) and two main dishes from the daily menu (croque Monsieur and vegetarian Tarte, which were okay). Overall we would come back again!

The timing of the serving could be improved. The wine should rather be served a little before the dish came on the table than long after as we experienced with both of our dishes. It should also be possible to serve two café-au-laits at the same time as three espressos, but this also failed badly. The food served was perfect though.

Beautiful dinner. The food was excellent, the service was super friendly and managed to survive even my broken French, the place was incredible - would say it’s one the best places for an authentic southwestern French date we’ve ever been to.

Overall the service and food was disappointing. The veg burger was just vegetables in the middle of a bundy and the tagine was bland not spicey ...The starters were very good but the main courses were underwhelming . Would not recommend!

Tiny, friendly restaurant with fresh, local cuisine cooked beautifully. I especially recommend the fois gras and the duck burger. Go and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and wonderful, reasonably priced food.

The food was good. Not the best I've had in Bordeaux but I'd recommend it. Everything was cooked well. The seating is a little tight. And we were right next to the non functioning door/handle so we had to open and close for guests while we were dining. The duck burger was excellent. The staff was very friendly and spoke some English.

Very poor quality food, burnt fries and a limp salad no presentation at all just thrown together,. Maybe they just lost their chef but this type of food is not what French food is about it was our worst meal on our 10 day holiday. We brought it to the attention of the Manager and she was very helpful and we knew by her reaction this is not the first time they have received complaints. The younger waitress that initially served us was not friendly at all and it was like we were an inconvenience. Felt really let down by Tripadvisor and The Fork reviews. Poor quality food and not cheap for what they served, will not be going back

Duck burger was great. Lamb cutlets were ok. Kind of expected something more than just a grill. 20% fork discount didn't work because apparently it's only eligible once you order the whole set as in apetiser+Main+dessert which was not like advertised ( 20% off à la carte menu). But still had a nice meal though.

it s something between a good freanch gourmet restaurant and a cheap one.....all considered I would not suggest this one. the menu does not include the dessert (as said by the waitress). so dont wait for it...as said by la fourchette. Formula € 13 Ce menu comprend : Entrée + Plat + Dessert
