Ate last month at Alinea in Chicago. Far superior food, presentation and service there. And Chefs choice menu (300€ per person) should have been memorable and outstanding. It was not. Also, a couple of Louis XV servers were sharp to the point of rude. While others were very welcoming and sincerely kind. We will not return
My Wife and I had the Price fix Chefs Selection menu @$360 e each, with 2 glasses of Moet Rose Champagne, just ONE glass of white wine at $15 and one cup of coffee, for a total check of 835 e plus, I left a 100e tip. Expensive, BUT Very, Very Good!! The service was exquisite, kind and professional, (a truly run professional restaurant). Only advise is that you make sure you "re-review your check before paying it", (IE: After you come off the GASTRO High), so that your thoughts are together. All GOOD!!! and I give it a 10!!!! It is not just the name of Alain Ducasse and it food, but also the end-to-end experience which made the visit so unforgettable and enjoyable. Will definitely come again.

Excellent food and service. Everything was meticulously prepared . Very very expensive. Multiple extras for dessert and a take home surprise. It was an “oh my gosh” evening.

Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris cuisine tells the story of the Riviera, now more than ever. Produce, flavours, colours, everything is there. Fish originates from local fishing, herbs and vegetables from inland. Certain Louis XV iconic recipes are still on the menu, namely the Provence garden vegetables, black truffle, offered to guests since May 27th 1987.
Yet, on the same Mediterranean partition, the lyrics have been completely rewritten. The menu created by chef Dominique Lory and Alain Ducasse asserts itself with contemporaneousness and youth. Vigorous jus, intense broths, fresh condiments, it primarily reveals the exactitude and precision of taste. Noël Bajor, head sommelier at Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris, created a wine list imbued with the immense wealth of one of the most beautiful cellars in the world and the most beautiful regional products of the Riviera.
The service ballet, impeccably set by Claire Sonnet, restaurant manager and Michel Lang, director of Le Louis XV and ÔMER’s restaurants, articulates around a piece located in the centre of the room, created by designers Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku.
