      About the restaurant Le Mandragore

URBAN COUNTRYSIDE – Oscar Comtet, the owner of the place, and his team will make you feel like home in this unique environment to offer you a break from the world. Hidden in a private alley and bordered by a garden of 900m2, Hôtel Particulier Montmartre is the most secret and romantic spot in Paris.

GASTRONOMY – Welcoming and cosy during winter, then set in the gardens as soon as warmer weather approaches, the restaurant is a not-to-be-missed venue in the French capital. In charge of the kitchens, Thibaut Spiwack skilfully combines flavours, textures and colours for diners and brunches.

A HYMN TO SEASONS – The menu changes along seasons and presents only fresh and noble products, chosen according high-quality criteria. Some of our fresh products come directly from our garden, hens and beehives!

This place is incredible! It is tucked away off the street in a lush garden setting. The dining room was totally unique to any other meal we had in Paris, and it was our favorite meal we had in France over 8 days of dining including Michelin rated restaurants. We did the tasting menu and wine pairing which was perfect and had a wonderful server who did his best to explain the dishes in English and we did our best to communicate in French. Wonderful hospitality, wonderful wine, and very creative and delicious dishes on each course. There’s a very cool craft cocktail bar hidden downstairs with good music playing and more lush garden vibes even inside. Our waiter kindly ran down stairs to ensure he could save us a table when we told him we wanted to have cocktails down there after dinner. The cocktails were a bit on the sweeter side, but we found that to be the case in most of the French craft cocktail bars we went to. This whole place is kind of a hidden gem and it is well worth a visit! There are no signs indicators as to where it is so you may need to ask some direction when you call for a reservation

Our favorite dining experience in Paris was tonight at Le mandragone. Excellent food, service, and the ambiance can't be beat. Equal parts sophistication and hipster. Can't wait to return to Paris and dine there again!
