I booked as this restaurant while visiting Geneva with my Mother as didn’t want to be walking around looking for a place to eat and it was a short walk from our hotel. The food was delicious, beautiful fresh pasta, so tasty.

The friendliness of the owner and staff, and his explanation of the wine served along with the special cherries given after the meal. All the food was delicious and plated perfectly. On the appetizer - who would have thought that Avocado & Shrimp would go so well together. Just great

What a wonderful find. It’s Saturday evening in Geneva and we hadn’t made a reservation anywhere and wanted Italian so I just started to look in the vicinity of our hotel, online. Just reading the menu and the reviews I was hopeful that I could make a reservation. Lucky us!! Not only did they have an online reservation system but had a spot available. We were not disappointed. The service from the moment we walked in until we left made us feel welcome and at home. Our dinners were just wonderful…four of us enjoyed all of our choices..beautifully prepared but simple and so delicious. And the restaurant felt like it was a place locals love to dine; that’s always a good recommendation. Be sure to choose Le Milan for a wonderful evening dining, particularly if you’re a tourist feeling anxious about choosing a spot; you won’t be disappointed.

I didn't feel it was eating Italian food. I also found the place a little too pricey and did not see any corresponding standing (it's an aging decor) and service. It would be better qualified as a family restaurant. The food was tasty, but did not have the usual Italian vibe to me. It felt more like traditional well made home cooking. Unfortunately, the tiramisu felt a bit off, as if the dairy in it had soured. The chef first explained it as a result of an amaretto and kahlua blend - which I don't agree with. But even assuming it were true, I don't think that the taste of sour dairy should be the taste any chef wants.... the owner then apologized and offered fair compensation, which we were grateful for.

Salads were fresh and substantial. The ravioli was good, and the portion was sufficient. My husband had the calf livers and said they were tasty and the perfect amount, given tier rich flavor. Servers were attentive, but a little brusque.

For a romantic dinner, near the train station and with a good quality/Price ratio, I recommend. The service is very great and our waiter was kind and funny ???? Thanks to him ! Sweet dinner with my man ☺️
