About the restaurant Le Montrachet

Excellent all round everything and lovely surroundings, completely as expected from a Michelin *.

Our whole party (3 adults and 1 child) had differing menus and changes, and all well catered for. The children’s menu was “what would you like” - it was 2 courses - either main and 1st or dessert. My almost 9 year old son was super impressed with the fish.

The highlight of course was the wine list. It was very exciting to see pages 2-3 devoted to Puligny-Montrachet and pages 4-5 for the Chassagne Montrachets. The whole list is an extensive collection of regional wines, and many available by the glass.

Actually, all very good value for money and flawless wine. Well worth a visit.

The lunch deal was perfect. Great value for money. Pure tastes, many culinary techniques were shown. It's very obvious that the chef wants to show his passion for the region and the quality of the products.

Wonderful location. Superb selection of wine. Service was very attentive. Only minor complaint was the wait towards the end of the meal. This is the only very minor quibble.

Really great food, wine and service. The spring tasting menu was really good. My favorite course was probably the John Dory which was perfectly done. My friends especially enjoyed the chocolate dessert...decadent!

The main course was absolutely disappointing: dry meat without

The 90 Euro menu was worth every cent. Ask for hslf bottles instead of opting for open glass wine.

This was a delight. Montrachet came through with an excellent overall experience at a very reasonable price. We were delighted at the creativity and novelty of some dishes, loved the sublime suggested wine pairings, appreciated the flexibility to add a cheese course to the menu, and had a great time. We had a mixed-language group, and the waitstaff was happy to help us in about 80% French/20% English.
Bravo!

Lovely Easter lunch at Le Montrachet. The April menu was both tasty and good value for money. We had children with us and they were very well looked after as well.

Excellent restaurant overall, expect one female Sommelier seemed a bit moody and inconsistent in terms of service. However, rest of the servers were outstanding.
