About the restaurant Le Montrachet

Consistently excellent dishes from amuse through cheese and dessert. Very good wine pairings for the price fixe menu, using wines by the glass as recommended by the sommelier.

Lovely setting in the quiet town of Puligny-Montrachet, with professional service and an open, airy environment. Top marks.

The food is too fancy for my tastes, quality is good but two of the dishes the starter of tiger prawns and the raspberry pudding the flavours did not work

Very elegant, classic service. Only miss was the beef course on spring tasting menu and fish on Grand menu (fish could have been fresher) however most other courses were spot on. Pretty conservative cooking with nice wine selection

The loveliest patio for dinning in all of burgundy! The food was both inventive and delicious and the wines list was very complete but with many reasonably priced burgundy wines available that were drinking well.

It’s not our first visit to this remarquable restaurant. They’re standards are high and serve excellent quality food and of course excellent wines. We loved the menu we have chosen ‘les jardins de Puligny’. One small remark on the veal : that dish was too salty and there was something wrong in the preparation. But we will come back to thus restaurant for sure!

Beautiful setting, linens and tables. Overpriced for what your are receiving. One half of a tomato with slivers of artichoke heart got 29 euro. Seriously.

Excellent all round everything and lovely surroundings, completely as expected from a Michelin *.

Our whole party (3 adults and 1 child) had differing menus and changes, and all well catered for. The children’s menu was “what would you like” - it was 2 courses - either main and 1st or dessert. My almost 9 year old son was super impressed with the fish.

The highlight of course was the wine list. It was very exciting to see pages 2-3 devoted to Puligny-Montrachet and pages 4-5 for the Chassagne Montrachets. The whole list is an extensive collection of regional wines, and many available by the glass.

Actually, all very good value for money and flawless wine. Well worth a visit.
