    Excellent, large portion Bœuf Bourguignon (French-style red wine beef stew with carrots and onions) , other dishes are fine or ok bur food is plenty. Chocolate mousse is served till your can’t eat more! Location is near Montmartre and Sacré cœur basilica near a historic windmill building. Service is efficient but it often feels like a busy, packed place.

    Good food. At the start, a little bit rushed to take our order as if they were going to want to get us through quickly, but then things settled down and we enjoyed the evening. Excellent crêpes suzettes to finish!

    Luckily we’d reserved a table. The restaurant was very busy and had a great atmosphere. Greeted at the door and waiting staff were all friendly. Snails, onion soup, chicken, duck, tarte tatin and chocolate pudding were all great. Very reasonable price too. 3 courses all for just €39. Would highly recommend.

    The meal was everything we were looking for our 39th Wedding Anniversary from the Champagne to start and the Creme Brulee at the end! We had brilliant Service throughout and they were very accommodating with my allergies

    Excellent onion soup, discreet meat, well cooked, plenty of garnish. Desserts to try again, to better appreciate, the "mille-feuille" and "the pain perdu"... We were there of course because it is the scene of the painting by Pierre Auguste Renoir. Warm welcome and "empathy" of the staff. Tables well laid out, nice atmosphere, even if our American neighbor never stopped talking about her personal stories ... Location : 7/8 Menù : 6/8 Restaurant service 6/8 Quality / price : 5,5/8

    I personally think that this is the best value in Paris. I have eaten in more expensive restaurants and not had the excellent quality of food I have here. Not only is it a special experience to be eating in the site of Renoir's painting but the food is excellent and customers are treated well.

    The meal and service were excellent. The restaurant is lovely. It’s a very welcoming, cozy environment. If you have a penchant for late nineteenth-century French art you’ll love the history of the street.

    A fabulous restaurant in an old beautifully renovated windmill creating an old world Parisian feel. The food was outstanding, with one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, cooked perfectly to order. The theatre in the preparation of crepes Suzette by the table for desert was also matched by the taste. Service was attentive and helpful and the wine recommendation superb. Definitely a winner for anyone visiting Montmartre but be sure to make a reservation as the word has got out and it fills up quickly!

    The main course was served on hot plates, however the food was far from warm. Two potatoes were served, one was a purple variety, served presumably as novelty, but it was stone cold and had no taste whatsoever. The plain white potato had good flavour. The dessert was a fig tarte served with pistachio icecream. Obviously the ice cream had been left standing out for some considerable time as it was soft and runny, melted to a sauce rather than as icecream. The figs were tasty however. This is a tourist orientated restaurant, so presumably clients are not expected to return, given the shoddy standards.

    Excellent food, mussels, beef burgoyne, and duck all some of the best we have had, service was outstanding and setting was superb. Wine, snail and desserts all very good...highly recommended.

    le seul point negatif : il faut controler l'addition car on avait mis un dessert mal noté (mais pas consommé) sur la note. Mais c'était corrigé immédiatement (point positive)

    Friendly restaurant with good service. Melon starter delicious. Duck was a bit overcooked and the lasagna was tough on the bottom. Shame, as previous meal here was much better.
