Excellent
Decided to book Le Moulin as it was one of few restaurants open on Sunday. What a treat! We weren’t really expecting this level of warm service and delicious dishes. The prices were very reasonable and the setting was beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience in Chartres!
The staff were great, wine selection they made was perfect and a wonderful meal to start our trip to France. Highly recommend. Risotto in particular was wonderful.
Really good to find this street in the old town by the river. Excellent food and good wines all served professionally and by quality staff who care about doing a good job. Very glad we went and would definitely return.

Although the food was good (not outstanding) it was seriously overpriced for Chartres. Yes, the setting is outstanding but the ensemble was insufficient to merit a restaurant gastronomique rating. This is a decent but overpriced bistronomique restaurant. We could have eaten in a Michelin * for the price we paid.. Or twice in the other Bistros in Chartres
Feines Essen, guter Service, aber bei der Rechnung wurden wir übers Ohr gehauen. Volle Berechnung der einzelnen Gänge statt Menupreis wie auf Karte angegeben. Schade, dass ein solches Restaurant so etwas nötig hat. Wir sind oft in Chartres, werden aber leider nicht mehr hier essen.

Le moulin de Ponceau
C’est un véritable coup de cœur familial qui amène Franck, Mickaël et Stéphane à vouloir redonner ses lettres de noblesse à cette adresse chartraine connue de tous.
Cette jolie maison du XVIème siècle, située dans le cœur historique de la ville et au bord de l’Eure, propose dans une ambiance feutrée, une cuisine raffinée, une « gastronomie de terroir ». Le chef Yannick Tabart compose une carte évoluant au fil des saisons et basée essentiellement sur des produits locaux issus d’une agriculture raisonnée.
