Le Moulin du Roc is in an idyllic position on a pretty river. We were entertained by dancing damsel flies, the ones Rossetti describes as ‘like a blue thread loosened from the sky’, and a passing kingfisher zooming up and down. The service is professional and friendly; our waitress who did an impeccable job also advised me on how to germinate acer seeds! As for the food, it is classic French haute cuisine with imaginative details; strawberries with pea mousse, and savoury sorbets, for example. Everything delicious and attractively presented. Can’t wait till the next time.

What an ambience, a truly lovely place. The only negative thing is the maitre'd midway taking our orders stopping to direct his staff. Although understandable it was a bit awkward.

The restaurant setting is lovely and the welcome and service is perfect. The food is beautifully presented with a real mixture of flavors and colours. A very interesting menu and an excellent selection of very good wines.

Great dinner experience! My wife is fairly difficult on meals because she is easily sick. The staff has been really keen on making sure she would have a good experience . If you stop in this area, make sure you stop here
