About the restaurant Le Mystique

ÉLÉGANCE - La première chose que vous noterez en arrivant au Mystique, c’est son décor somptueux. Un mélange de teintes vives, des meubles de style baroque, des lustres cristallins….

We just got back from a lovely dinner. It was "Wicked Wednesday", so we had the chef's special 4 course meal (which, with amuse bouches, was 9 courses) and it was splendid. Lovely wine pairings. Service was exceptional. Ambiance lovely. The price was quite good as it was a special deal (Wicked Wednesday). Highly recommend if you are a fan of high-end dining.

At first, we were a little put off by the fact that Le Mystique is in a hotel, and this is usually not a good sign. Also, it was very difficult to find even with Google maps because they don't tell you that it's in the Heritage Hotel (probably for the same reason as above). The knowledgeable and friendly staff commenced with an overture of four different appetizers were truly first class accompanied by a glass of Tattinger Champagne (€15 a pop!), which should have been colder. We had the smaller four course menu - or tried to. They eventually swayed us into sharing the fifth course. A bit pushy, but forgivable - especially since the cheeses were awesome. The only dish that was not particularly good was the meat. A small slice of beef that just wasn't of the same quality that the other dishes rose to. The wine pairing was so so. They finished with a Catalan wine, but I stuck to the French. It was a wonderful evening. Just a tad too expensive especially considering the sub-par wine.

what a warm welcome we had- and what a lovely meal. Our only mistake might have been going for the 6 course tasting menu rather then 4....so much food...all delicious but perhaps too much for us...my husband and older son managed just fine but my younger son and I stumbled a bit and could not finish each course- the portions are a perfect size really but there are so many little extras- breads, amuse bouche etc- so go with a big appetite . The wine pairings very great and the staff very friendly and knowledgable.

From the welcome at reception to the restaurant staff everyone was fantastic. I was particularly impressed by our waiter who offered the wine menu to either my husband or myself - a particular irritation when assume the man orders the wine! I was so impressed with the efficiency and elegance of the service. The food was excellent as well with the 5 courses ending up being more like 12, with the dishes presented and pleasant selection of wines. The wines did not blow me away but were good value, the rest of the evening however was perfect - thoroughly recommend as a special evening with a good value tasting menu in luscious surroundings.

We had the 6 course menu with accompanying wines. It was superb. Each course was a sensation for all of the senses. Eclectic, quirky, imaginative. It was food as Art. And the Chef is just 28 years old. Amazing. Service was excellent too. Attentive but discreet. I highly recommend this restaurant.

One of the most amazing meals ever. So full of flavour the 6 course taster menus with wine WOW. Not cheap but well worth the money worth every penny. Great place for special occasion or just to indulge. Loved the pace of the meal we sat at 19:30 hrs finished at 23:00hrs sheer bliss. We will defiantly be coming back hopefully very soon. P.S. the bouillabaisse was to die for.

Cozy, charming, romantic, impeccable service and delicious food. What more could you want? It is pricey, but well worth your time and money. The deer filet, the oysters and the caviar composed an oral symphony. Be wise and partake of sommelier Benjamin Leyt's wine pairings. He won't disappoint with off the beaten path wines heaven made for the menu items!
