Very friendly staff, very nice food, relatively cheap for the quality. The only weaker point was that our table was directly next to the toilet, so, some unwanted smell of toiletsoaps-/washing agents spread occasionally. But the staff was there for us, the athmosphere friendly and inviting.

After reading the reviews I was really happy that I managed to get a booking for dinner. I had the set menu with octopus, cod and pain perdu as dessert with a glass of wine. Octopus was nice, looked beautiful. For my taste I would have liked for the dish to have a zingy element to it. Cod was beautiful and dessert was nice, I think it had some rose water flavourings. Service was very good, a nice and polite waiter that offered to explain the menu as I did not speak french. Had a lovely experience!

We picked this restaurant based on the reviews that we read, it was a really good decision although it's slightly away from the touristy part of the town the quality is really up there and the whole experience properly French, not necessarily designed for tourism but genuine gastronomy.
