We stopped off in Dieppe for lunch on the way back to Calais from Normandy and picked Le Palmier based on the positive reviews - they are all true - not fancy but a warm and cheerful restaurant with lovely good value food and excellent friendly service - we had 3 tagines (vegetarian. Marakesh (meatballs, peas & egg) and Chicken and Prunes and Almonds) and one Coscous Royal (Coscous with a side plate of mixed grilled meat) - all were great - portion sizes are generous too - one tagine, a salad and fries would feed 2 for lunch - special mention for the lovely waitress who served us - strongly recommended
