INSTITUTION – Du côté de la Motte-Picquet, à quelques rues de Montparnasse dans le 15ème arrondissement de Paris, le restaurant Le Père Claude est une véritable institution. Imaginez, il est ouvert depuis 1988, une longévité remarquable pour la restauration parisienne !

À LA BROCHE – La rôtissoire et la plancha ne sont pas des éléments du décor : le poulet rôti et sa purée maison fait partie des incontournables ! Mais la carte réserve bien d’autres surprises : tête et langue de veau, cuisses de grenouilles, carré d’agneau, cassolette de homard et de Saint Jacques…

Superb cassoulette of lobster, fish, and mushrooms! Tender, juicy lamb chops served with heavenly pureed potatoes! Delicious apple clafoutis! Charming and professional service! We like this restaurant very much.

Le Pere Claude doesn't miss a beat. We highly recommend everything we ordered: the house terrine, the lamb chops which are served with a heavenly puree of potatoes, and the unique Baba au Rhum which is served with Le Chauvet rhum and candied fruits. The service is excellent, too, and we will return!

Now hard-to-find classics such as bone marrow appetizer, frog legs done right in garlic and parsley, veal kidneys and sweetbreads. Not for light eaters but excellent.
