About the restaurant Le Petit Canard

"Very close to the Pigalle Metro, near the pretty place Saint-Georges, Le Petit Canard is a location that cannot be given a miss.

Guests can enjoy traditional cuisine prepared with produce from the family farm in Haute-Savoie here. Of course, the great specialty of the establishment is the duck, that you can taste in all its forms. Mère Gaud's duck is not the duck found in supermarkets!

In terms of decoration, the atmosphere of this small place is intimate, the welcome is without fuss, simply sumptuous.
A must-visit restaurant for all duck fans."

We had a very nice time at dinner yesterday. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The service was excellent and the food well prepared. I wish we had a place like this back home.

The food was exquisite. Ask for the pate sampler, orange duck, and the apple tart and you will be extremely satisfied.

We visited Le Petit Canard after reading reviews on thefork. We both love duck, and the duck dishes here are delicious. Most things are sourced from their family farm in the Haute Savoie, and there is a lovely little explanation on the menu that they only rear a small number every year, and try to give the ducks as happy a life as possible. We had the mixed charcuterie, and also snails to start which were both good. Then one confit duck - the best I've ever eaten, and one duck stew - also great. The couple who run the restaurant were pleasant and helpful.

I love this place. Have been several times over the last few years and see no reason to stop!!
Definitely reserve a table. Every time I go I see potential walk-in guests get turned away.
Bon appetit!

Duck cooked in the UK is best served as a Chinese dish Peking Duck and Spring Roll. Le Petit Canard introduces you to flavours and ways you never knew duck could be served. The 3 of us chose different mains, and tried each other's choices. We either choose lucky or the entire menu is a delight to the palette. We shared a couple of starters and one dessert and frankly that was borderline too much. Apparently the house red wine of the month was excellent. Decor quirky but magnificently French and excellent atmosphere in this cosy restaurant and very friendly and helpful service (English menu offered). Close to Moulin Rouge but also far enough away to avoid the tourist crowds. 3 happy diners from Scotland.

We had a wonderful dinner! The food was exactly as we hoped: delicious and authentic. The greeting was personable and warm. The ambiance was delightful. All in all, a lovely experience. It was our fist time at Le Petit Canard, but it will NOT be our last! Franck (our server and the co-owner, we think) was a pleasure and very helpful! We live in France (my husband has for many years) and rarely have we enjoyed a meal (or the atmosphere) more!
