About the restaurant Le Petit Canard

"Very close to the Pigalle Metro, near the pretty place Saint-Georges, Le Petit Canard is a location that cannot be given a miss.

Guests can enjoy traditional cuisine prepared with produce from the family farm in Haute-Savoie here. Of course, the great specialty of the establishment is the duck, that you can taste in all its forms. Mère Gaud's duck is not the duck found in supermarkets!

In terms of decoration, the atmosphere of this small place is intimate, the welcome is without fuss, simply sumptuous.
A must-visit restaurant for all duck fans."

Great small restaurant. Great dishes. The duck confit and foie gras escalope was amazing.

Creme brulee was great too. The host was very polite and knowledeable about the menu.

Would recommend coming here again.

Amazing. The best meal in Paris for sure and this is after dining at more famous restaurants including one with a Michelin Star. Don’t waste your time and money at other places. Come here and have a great meal without breaking the bank.

Everything was delicious. It all seemed homemade (and I mean that in the best possible way). Service was friendly and attentive. We plan to return.

Excellent meal. The duck meat was moist and tender and the skin crispy on the outside. As good as we remembered 2 years ago when we were there

Small place...service was ok.
Not sure who has been eating this place.
I've been eating cassoulet for 40 years and this is hands down the worst I've ever eaten. Navy bean soup with a piece of sausage, duck leg and a few paper thin slices of smoked Margret thrown in...a mess.
The onion soup was atrocious.
Confit de canard...ordinary
Escargot...not bad
Overall a waste of time and money

Good food, nice atmosphere and the staff were nice to us.

The proprietor was vaping a lot, and
my partner overheard staff unsubtley moaning about another table who’d asked if they had WiFi. Travellers often rely on the internet to look up transport so whilst I’m not saying you should have internet in a restaurant, perhaps don’t get angry when someone asks for it.

Would still recommend the restaurant - food was very good and overall a pleasant experience for us.

Quite good duck. It is a bit touristy though. At least when we were there Thursday night 20:00 all tables around us didn't speak French. It is still a good place. I recommend their egg 'cocotte'. It is one of the best eggs I ever ate. Main course are good but not like changing

Lovely off the street restaurant! Great food, reasonable prices! Would recommend to anyone that wants to experience a taste of France! Just make sure you like duck (although my wife, wasn’t a fan until to tonight) not your everyday 5* restaurant but certainly for us!

We just loved the diner at Le Petit Canard. Even our little daughter played with the little ducks ;-)
Very cosy and friendly atmosphere during an excellent pre-Christmas dinner in Paris.
Thank you very much.
