About the restaurant Le Petit Canard

"Very close to the Pigalle Metro, near the pretty place Saint-Georges, Le Petit Canard is a location that cannot be given a miss.

Guests can enjoy traditional cuisine prepared with produce from the family farm in Haute-Savoie here. Of course, the great specialty of the establishment is the duck, that you can taste in all its forms. Mère Gaud's duck is not the duck found in supermarkets!

In terms of decoration, the atmosphere of this small place is intimate, the welcome is without fuss, simply sumptuous.
A must-visit restaurant for all duck fans."

Friendly staff who spoke English (excellent! As all i can say in French is "i can't speak French"). The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the food was exceptional, right down to the goat cheese salad. The duck (confit duck) was delicious, as was the creme brulee.

Wonderful. Beginning to end, top to bottom, from the warm greeting to the warm good bye. The cuisine was impeccable and left us speechless. I live in Manhattan and wish we had them there. I'll be visiting every time I'm in Paris for the remainder of my days.

We came here one year ago after seeing it featured on a Heston Blumenthal programme and it was amazing. All kinds of duck dishes including the famous Duck a l'Orange. Awesome foie gras. The room itself is full of character and has a load of my favourite vinyl albums up on the wall decor. Extra points scored. Lovely guys serving us. We love this place.

I went to the restaurant on a recommendation from a family member. It was exceptional! The food was delicious, the service was just right. If you like duck cooked in many ways, this is the place for you. The cassoulet is one of the best.

Very cosy place and excellent food. I recommend this place to others. First time I visited the restaurant was 7 years ago and second time here in 2016 was just as good.

Love love love! a cozy restaurant with great dishes , mostly duck, and service with smiles. I was very happy to bring my tourist friends there. Ze Canard a l'Orange was truly tasty. Creme brulee was crispy with a touch of anise. The house wine is really tasty, berry-like and spicy oak. Would definitely visit again!

The best duck dishes we've ever had. The selection of duck cuts, the fois gras and the Duck l'orange was out of this world, HIGHLY recommended!

Very nice little restaurant and the service is great. We had the set menu with Foie Gras as entree, Orange Duck for main and Creme Brulee for dessert. Very tasty and we enjoyed our night.

We loved this place. Was recommended by a friend who are here twice during his last visit to Paris because he liked it so much. The ouef cocotte with foie gras and smoked duck breast is perhaps one of the best dishes I have ever had. Was a great value for the quality of food. Will absolutely visit again.

A fabulous small intimate restaurant where the staff were so helpful and the food was just excellent. When I enquired about the recommended wine I was offered a taste of it before I had to order, that's a first for me.
Would recommend it to anyone

A bit of a kitchy tourist trap but friendly service and decent, home-cooked style food. On the pricey side for what you get.
