About the restaurant Le Petit Fouet

Onion soup delicious. Grandma's cassoulet likewise but even my big appetite couldn't cope with the huge portions. We will be back - but no starter next time and maybe we will Ave room for dessert.

Some of the poorest cuisine we have experienced in a decade of dining on The Cote. D azur. Copious amounts of food with a high price tag. All four diners did not finish the meal.

Lvely little restaurant in old part of Mougins - surrounded by very expensive other din ing options. Great service, cramped tables but that didn't matter

Everything is almost perfect. The wine seems to be a bit overpriced. Service is good and cooking is prompt.

Totally brilliant, saw a small number of bad reviews on here/Google, no idea where they went! The portions are a really good size, it's not excessively expensive, and the french onion soup is unbelievable! The manager/owner (?), I believe his name is Bastien, is incredibly welcoming and courteous - would highly recommend.

It was a fabulous restaurant although tables very small so you're almost sitting on neighbours table. Also our 20% discount for booking through TripAdvisor was not deducted from our bill and unfortunately we had drunk a couple of bottles of wine between the 2 of us, so forgot to query it. Annoying really. That would of been quite substantial with our €170 bill. Are restaurants told to deduct the discount or is it up to the customer?

Fantastic atmosphere and really nice food. We ordered the fish soup, tomato and mozzarella salad, the canard, the XXL steak, risotto with clams and for dessert the lemon tart and creme brûlée. I can recommend everything on the menu :)

We have visited this restaurant twice within a week. Both times we felt really welcome, there is a nice atmosphere and the food is good. Typically french dishes and nice wines. They were also very flexible when the kids decided not to pick something from the kids menu but to share another plate instead. Can recommend!
