    we had a great dinner outside, on the terras, friendly personel, we ate fish and meat, plates were nicely decorated, food was tasting very good, nice wine. Everything you want on a summerevening in Sarlat!

    Go for the lunch menu and sit outside in the courtyard if you can! It was the best meal I had in the whole region on our week-long trip in Dordogne/Perigord.

    We had a little trouble communicating our orders due to our limited French speaking abilities, but out meal was truly wonderful. Their ability to blend in Asian flavors to traditional French cuisine was impressive.

    We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately at a very nice table. The only waiter serving everyone was very efficient, very friendly, very attentive without being intrusive, and spoke perfect English. The dining rooms were "tired elegant", needing some painting in areas. My wife had a salad as her entrée, and I had the soft-shelled crag. Hers was quite good, and mine was excellent. We both ordered the ris-de-veau as our main dish. We order it whenever it is on a menu, and this was one of the best preparations we have had. It was served in a pastry shell with two sauces on the side: a red wine sauce and a foie gras sauce. The latter was outstanding. We did not order dessert, but they did look interesting. I recommend this restaurant highly.

    Perfect dinner for our last night in Sarlat. Wait staff was responsive and helpful in describing available dishes. All of our dishes came out artfully presented and delicious. Every bite was savored.

    The service was attentive without being intrusive. The food was plentiful & superbly presented. They have a great 24.5 euro deal. The atmosphere was refined & the décor suited the area. Excellent dining experience. There was a problem booking using thefork as it only let me book as late as 8pm & the restaurant said there were later bookings available.

    Lovely lunch. Amazing chilled melon starter with sorbet mint other herbs. Fish of the day was fantastic as was the salmon tarter and the filet of beef.

    Good location, nice building, correct kitchen but the quality of local ingredients, especially truffles during the season and Truffles Festival, could be much higher. Not a good value for money.

    Advise: choose NO open wine and truffles! We enjoyed lunch at "Le Manoir petite". Because we had to drive, we opted for the open wine. There is very little choice: white or red Bergerac or Bordeaux red. We chose the Bergerac: white and red. About the red wine: unbelievable that they dare pouring such a bad wine. As starter we ordered the omelette with truffles for two. Too bad the food was not distributed to the table on two plates. The cook had been very sparingly with truffle. The truffle was probably first used to make truffle oil: it was tasteless and odorless; 23 euros for this omelette is much too expensive. Then we got a fillet steak - medium- and truffle sauce. The meat was too red and truffle sauce .... no taste or smell! But not everything was very bad... The other main course lamb in orange sauce was a exelent example for slow-cooking: simply perfect.
