The food was incredible at this very cosy restaurant, as was the service. I would love to return and hope to do so next time I’m visiting this beautiful city.

So pleased to have a vegetarian dish that wasn’t just a plate of vegetables. Great meal, really enjoyed every mouthful

Wonderful little restaurant with great food and a very friendly service. Tables on the terrace of a very quiet street. Waiters know about the dishes and helpful. Lovely atmosphere.

It was 8 of us. Really good food. The tomato and bread quality was wonderful. One of the dishes got mixed up, but we did order a lot. The street that the restaurant is on is charming.

Great care from staff, nice traditional food. Pleasant location with tables on the street. The waiter spoke English and explained to us the while menu.

The staff was very welcoming and attentive. We sat outside and enjoyed watching the people passing by. The food however was a bit of a dissappointment. The fois gras was very good, my salad however wasn’t draines properly and the lettuce at the bottom was really soggy. The salad had only different kinds of lettuce and tomatos together with a few walnuts. A bit boring. And there was very little dressing and it dissappeared in the water. The pieces of toast with chevre was good, but lacked sauce/dressing.
My husband had an OK gazpacho, but the tagliatelle with smoked trout was quite bland.

Wonderful little French restaurant with traditional French food with a twist. Delicious! A short but great wine list as well! Decently priced for the location and quality of food. The hosts as well extremely nice and welcoming! Highly recommended!

We selected the restaurant based on comments from the web and it really was not a disappointment! Very friendly staff with passion for what they do. Reasonable prices and a very nice selection of typical local food.

Whilst the restaurant is relatively small with most tables being downstairs (although there was the opportunity to sit outside, but due to the weather we chose to sit downstairs), the restaurant had a nice relaxed vibe. The maitre d was a informal and was keen to make us feel welcome, showing us downstairs to a table at the bottom of the stairs and eager to outline the menu to us explaining the whole of the menu into English, which for someone with limited French speaking ability was greatly appreciated. The ambience of the place was nice with some background pop music being played which help set the tone. Really great food and attentive service all helped to ensure we had an enjoyable evening. Would definitely go back.

make a reservation and depending on the time of year you may want to sit outside - potions are very generous so you could actually share a main dish - the cassoulet is MASSIVE......
