The appetizers, onion soup and snails were good, all homemade, no frozen food. The main dish I ordered, coq au vin and bœuf bourguignon were average, not exceptional. The homemade french fried was excellent. A little bit expensive if you order à la carte, but the 3 courses menu is a good deal. The top not is the owner, very nice, welcoming and friendly.
Tres bon repas Je recommande
Excellent service food is very good. Accueil chaleureux i suggest this place for all
Very welcoming service and delicious French food. The Onion soop was amazing.
A nice little restaurant with very good price-quality ratio. Only the background music was out of place and somewhat disturbing. The patron was overwhelmingly polite. Our request for a pichet of Côte du Rhône was without asking changed for a bottle of Médoc, but charged only for the pichet. Well, we would have preferred the Rhône, but a polite gesture anyway.
the waiter or owner is very generous! good experience. the meat is of amazing quality. i reccommend this restaurant
Very affordable allthough the dishes are a bit simple with no vegetables or even a leaf of salad. I think ordering the 3 course menu here is however a great deal.
This is a lovely spot located in a quiet and accessible neighborhood in Paris. The food was so fresh and traditional. This is a family run restaurant, which I love! The escargot was amazing with the most delicious garlicky sauce and the steak frites was tender. Perfect experience and no complaints!
Delicious food, excellent service, reasonable prices! Highly recommend
Cozy place a few convenient steps away from Hotel Monge. The owner is delightful. Pleasant meal
If you want authentic French cuisine then visit here..considering how expensive Pariis is then this was a bargain..we had a 3 course meal for 17 euros..basically the price of a beer and glass of wine anywhere else..I had French onion soup my wife had pate to start ..all homemade with loads of fresh bread and butter..we both had beef bourginon for main and it was beautifully cooked..melt in the mouth beef and really tasty sauce..we had chocolate mousse to finish and was much better than I thought it would be..nice and rich.. The owner was really pleasant and informative about how the food was prepared and seemed to really care about what we thought of food.. I wish we had found the place sooner because was better than the other places we tried which people raved about..and a heck of a lot cheaper.. You have to try this place..
Excellent choice if .you want ta taste the French cuisine...I would definitely recommend it
Fresh food, nice service , place to be renewed
A very nice place, very friendly owner, delicious typical French food. Would go there again any time.
