5/10Fish of the day portion was very small. It tasted very bland. The lamb was very tender and bigger portion. We only had water and was given a bottle of Avian which is 5€. The next table had wine and was given a regular bottle of water. The table on the side of the road was so tight. Passing cars were inches away from the chair. One chair was placed on the sidewalk which becomes to high to sit on.

4.5/10We didn’t have the experience we were hoping for based on the other reviews. While the servers were pleasant, the whole experience was very rushed. Although I appreciate fast service, we weren’t even halfway through our first drinks before they were asking if we wanted wine. We declined but they continued to ask. After placing our order (just mains, no starters) our food was brought out super fast…like within a couple of minutes which again felt like we were being rushed. It was only lukewarm too which put us off a bit. All of that might have been ok if the food was great but it was very average. I had the veal shoulder which tasted like it had been boiled. My husband had the lamb shank which he said didn’t taste of much either. We decided to cut our losses and just get the check without ordering any else. From arriving to leaving took only 30 minutes which didn’t feel like the relaxing experience we were hoping for. If you are looking for an unhurried experience where you can take your time enjoying a great meal this might not be the place for you.

9.5/10The reason this didn’t get 5 stars for service was because the young lady spilled the sauce on my husband’s shirt, it never said anything. I saw it spill, but I assumed that it didn’t land on him because she didn’t mention it.

9.5/10The food was really good. A mix of traditional and french food. All plates were cooked to perfection and the wine list was also really impressive: good wine and fair price! I will definitely go back to this restaurant!

9/10A happy find after a late concert in Aix. Warm, welcoming and delicious food. I had the daube de sanglier which was really well seasoned and the best take on banoffee pie I’ve ever had. We will be returning!

10/10Absolutely incredible meal! Cozy restaurant and staff were all friendly and helped us understand the menu in English. The presentation of the dishes was spectacular, with fresh and interesting garnishes. And the flavors amazing. Definitely our favorite meal in Aix and one of our top evenings in all of France! Highly recommend.

10/10The restaurant was on a back alley street and was very quaint. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with the menu and the wines. A suggestion of a local wine was well received by our party of 4. The food, from starters to dessert, was excellent and also a great price. Highly recommend this place, but definitely make a reservation because it’s packed and it’s small

10/10Really excellent food. The best we’ve had on our trip. My son said the slow cooked lamb strew was the best he’d ever had. The tarte tatin was memorably delicious. Served by charming staff in an unpretentious and relaxed side street.
