Always nice to have seasonal menu and when it is prepared by the chef like in Le Philanthrope, you are going to have an amazing meal. The vension and the scallops we had were delicious. Plenty of options for great cocktails and wines, that go well with the rich flavours of your dish. Also you can expect a friendly staff and nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Excellent spot for a night out!

Very good restaurant - dishes are almost of gastronomic (one star Michelin) quality and with the discounts offered a great deal. Highly recommended if you are looking for refined French style food.

They followed the COVID restrictions perfectly. This was the restaurant I wanted to visit as soon as lockdown ended and was not disappointed. The wine pairings were sublime, and the food and service were amazing.

They took so long in between the dishes. It took 1.40 hours to have the main course, I don’t know if they’re short of personal by the moment. But food amazing.

Great ambiance, the food is solid but not exceptional. There are some hits and misses, my foie gras was delicious but the wild boar terrine was quite chewy/tough (and in a way beyond what I would justify as acceptable for game meats). Very nice wines by the glass let you mix and match for different entrees/plats. Service feels a bit aloof, it took awhile to get menus, clear plates, refill glasses etc.

Very nice restaurant, nice atmosphere and good quality of dishes but too expensive (as example 15 francs for a dessert is too high). I would suggest to put some music also outside and to start closing the restaurant once the guests are already gone.

The garden is really pleasent even in great heat and the dishes are excellent quality. The beef tartar and the tuna steak were delicious, and the side dishes were a nice surprise.

This is my favourite restaurant in Geneva- great value for money, such friendly, down to earth staff (including the chef who comes out to greet the customers!) and perfect food. I had the vegetarian option this time. It’s rare in Geneva to find a place that does more than a basic salad as a vegetarian option whereas I chose the dish because it looked amazing on its own and it really was. I have been here around 5-6 times and it has consistently surpassed expectation. Excellent!

The service is poor. You have the impression that you are disturbing the waiter (the French one the italien is ok) ! The food is not so good and the quantities are very small.

Unfortunately we just returned from Canada where the restaurant service is 100% better. Therefore the contrast was perhaps too great between the attention and efficiently (they work for tips) offered in any restaurant overseas and here. I finally got up to get to get the menues, had to flag down the staff, declined desert because my 90 minutes parking on the street was up! So meal presents visually superb, food cooked well, maybe just a bit more taste needed but service needs major improvement.

I would recommend every dish I had, especially the dessert, which is Earl Grey ice-cream, matcha cigarette over poached yellow peaches, very delicious, great combination of flavor. I also really like their calamaretti with green peas, potatos.
