The restaurant's name comes from the Christofle lobster press – an extremely rare piece – that presides over the dining area. Gordon Ramsay has ...

The servicing crew is very professional. They provide friendly, courteous service. Very responsive even upon hearing a few words of exchange among the customers. I like the EVERYBING IS POSSIBLE attitude expressed by one of the serving crew. Thank you so much. Magnificent moments and quality food with heart!
Excellent service from all members of the staff. The food was great too. The pigeon and lobster was amazing. The wine pairing was OK. Would definitely come back again.
No though the best Michelin restaurant in Bordeaux. I am sure it will be a three stars restaurant in the future
Pricey but outstanding. Service was excellent and they put us less formal American diners very much at ease. They gave us a tour of the kitchen which was very enjoyable.
We had the tasting menu with the Classic wine pairing. Truly amazing food, but not all dishes lived up to the highest (and I do mean "highest") level. Although some courses were world-class fantastic, towards the end of the meal the veal course could have been better balanced and the desert was simply "good" rather than amazing. The wine paring however, was fully amazing. This was probably the most expensive meal I have had for 2 people (€660) but not the best meal ever - although it would probably make the top 10. Overall I would say this restaurant fully deserves 2 Michelin stars and may well be bordering on 3.
Tout simplement excellent !
Had the 6 course tasting menu. The two Entrees were very creative and delicious. Mains were average. Fish was normally nice but a bit less than brilliant. Veal was very correctly cooked, very tender, but the sauce is a bit too salty which makes it less enjoyable. The last dessert was a bit hard to understand. It was full of strawberry, with strawberry powder, strawberry sobert, fresh strawberry, strawberry jam and a bit of white choc. From a personal point of view I am not fond of desserts which lack flavour complexity. I also ordered their award winning dessert. The caramel crumb was magically not sticking to the teeth at all even after being chewed a long time, which makes a very pleasent mouth feel. I went there alone, maybe that's why the staff kindly gave me a tour in the kitchen. Service was great. It was a very nice dinning experience, but I expected a bit higher since it's a michelin 2 star restaurant.
Outstanding in every aspect. Food, wine and staff were fantastic as is the setting. We went for my partner’s 30th birthday and they gave us excellent, personal treatment including a tour of the kitchen, an extra dessert with candle and a little gift bag for her when we left. Amazing experience.
Everything was outstanding except the food. We loved the staff and the atmosphere. The hors d'voeuvres were very good. The presentation and accompaniments of the main ingredients were also delicious but they overwhelmed the natural flavors of the fresh crab and lobster dishes and that was disappointing.
Like all of GR’s luxe spots this is not an everyday place to dine unless you have hit the lottery. Dinner always tops $500 for two but everything about it shows excellence of detail. You spend about three hours with little tasty amuse bouches thrown in. And leave poorer but wealthy in satisfaction
Beautiful Presentation, Delicious Food, Professional Service, Good Customer Relationship and Excellent Marketing
Lugar extraordinario! Super top!
My husband and have traveled extensively and have eaten at many restaurants considered to be the top of the line, however La Pressoir was the best of the best by far in food, decor and service. Thank you for a lovely evening.
This is as near to perfect food/staff/setting as you can get .... worth every penny.
Very grand, very good, excellent staff and superb flavours. Not cheap but it was never going to be. As a special occasion we would highly recommend
