About the restaurant Le Prieuré

We arrived at 7.30 per our reservation and were told menus wouldn't be available til 8.00 would we like to walk around the village for half an hour. Strange. All night the service was rubbish: the front of house man ignored attempts to attract attention and we were asked three times if we wanted a carafe d'eau - in the end we called him over (finally) and said we want some water now please. The food was really good as was the setting however the service was really poor and so what should have been a great meal was annoying. We won't go back.
