Didn’t meet my expectation at all. Historic place and beautiful interior but food and service was nothing exceptional. Onion soup was cold, had to ask them to re-heat and it was not hot enough even afterwards. Service was ok, it could have been better.
We had a wonderful table. Great atmosphere; loved my 100 day chicken as well as the crêpes grand marnier. The Maître D gave us some history about the restaurant. Very special evening.
The food was very good and the atmosphere was great. The only thing that was «dissapointing» was that the waitors looked very stressed, and therefore gave us a poorer service than expected. But we will absolutely come back another time!
Beautiful and tradicional, the workers seemed overworked, but kind, delicious and exquisite food, It lacked a bit of spice though

Delicious food and well priced! The setting is beautiful, though we happened to be in what was probably the least attractive room. Most of the restaurant is really very special though.

Service, Settling, Food. All fantastic. Would highly recommend!! I had the Escargot, the Coq du Vin, and Shared a Creme Brûlée with my wife. Amazing. Do yourself a favour and go there!!

Nice atmosphere but avoid deserts. Oldest bistro of Paris, nice decorated, though detoriating and missing eye for detail like all lampshades are tilted and higgledy-piggledy. Starters snails good. Scallops good, but overpriced. Main, trout with almonds, was amazing, partner had veal, also good. Deserts were dramatic. Sent back lemon pie (tarte as citron meringue), tasting like raw eggs and bad and chocolate cake (moelleux aud chocolat) not runny and ice cream. Service good and replaced by recommended deserts: tiramisu, which was mediocre at best, too much cream and mascarpone, too little taste. Profiteroles bad, dry biscuit, same bad icecream, though hot chocolate sauce was good and made up a bit. Service working hard and giving their best, but being in hurry sometimes bit like throwing things on the table and not having time to pay extra attention to guests. Picked up isses with desert very well. Mixed public, more hoodies and sweaters than expected. Avoid deserts, don't spend on the expensive courses, and mostly come to enjoy atmosphere and you will be ok.
Upon arrival I've been told by the hostess that they do not have my booking and do not cooperate with your booking service. I had to wait for 30 minutes in the general queue to be seated. Not the most pleasant starter of the dinner... Cuisine was quite good and service was above average.
Historic and pretty place. Try to go during non-busy times to experience good service. But that’s hard because it is a popular place! ;) My fourth time - hard to always be perfect like my first three times - but I’ll be back for sure!
Estelle greeted us with a smile and found a perfect table for 2. Service was wonderful, not rushed and gave recommendations. The lovely atmosphere and price made the night perfect. No wonder the place is packed on a Tuesday night in November.
Beautiful decor, comfortable and warm. Very intimate feeling for a large restaurant. We have dined here before but it was my husband’s sister’s first experience. It was magical and she was delighted. The food was delicious and everything was prepared perfectly.
It was a Gretą time we spent in the Restaurant.. perfect risotto and tasty roast Chicken - like my mom did. Fully recommended.
We waited a bit for service, but it was quite busy, so understandable. A lot of atmosphere and my ile flottante was definitely a winner!
My pasta dish could have been hotter. But the waiter had it re-heated when I asked. He was super busy with many tables, and didn't check back with us very often. All in all, still a good experience. My husband loved his beef entree and starter. Restaurant recognized my husband's birthday with a sparkling display brought to table.
This restaurant must be an example for the Brasserie format. From the welcome to the end, all was perfect, food great, wine perfect, price affordable, service excellent.
It is a very large, very busy restaurant and they appeared short-handed as our waitress had an entire room and was practically running between tables. That being said, the service was good and we were not rushed-just the server.
