    Great service from the friendly owner. The food was home cooked tasty and simple. It’s a backstreet restaurant that is 100 years old. When we were there it was being renovated.. there’s no menu du jour but the meal came to €60 with wine and aperitif. The food was very tasty.

    Christophe the restaurant host spoke very good “American” and is personable and welcoming. Very charming place with great friendly service and home cooked meals. Not good for vegetarian but the kitchen was able to accommodate a gluten free diet, Would highly recommend for an off the beaten path local restaurant.

    We were greeted by Christopher as we came in the door. He has a great sense of humor and continued to watch over us throughout the night. My husband had a poached egg dish and I had a lovely salad with toast, warm goat cheese, and honey. For the main course I had veal and husband had the fish. Both were delicious. It is a small restaurant with a small menu of the day. Give it a try, you will be back for more!

    We felt really welcome although the only non-locals present. This was part of the charm - one very seldom has this kind of opportunity to dive into the local scene. The food was authentic country style cooking - good and very tasty. Excellent as such but make no mistake: it is not fine dining. Wine selection is good to support the menu selection. The owner speaks good English and takes extra effort to ensure the guests are enjoying their stay. This place is a must if you prefer an authentic experience instead of a touristic treat.

    The welcoming was okay but all the following was rather terrible. The salad was not washed well and not fresh at all the sauce was also not very good. We had a steak, which was more than oversalted and a chickenleg (very dry cooked) with a poor currysauce. The french fries were dark brown to black. No questions if we wanted more vine or how the food tasted. After all there came some guests with three subbering Monster dogs - I payed and left and hope this is not french foodstandard in Restaurants.
