We had the set menu for €40. This included just 2 small glasses of wine. The food was tasty but mostly pre-prepared. It took over 2 hours for our meal to be served which, as we had no choices to make, was ridiculous. Lovely atmosphere and pleasant staff.

Everything was great!! The service was very good and not pushy. We started off with a very good glass of champagne. After that we had an amuse which consisted of a mousse of mushrooms and rillettes of cabillaud. We had the salmon and ravioli with langoustine for starters. For the main we both had the lobster which was prepared in 4 different ways. What a good choice! The wine we had with the meal was a Chablis. Our own choice but also the recommendation of the sommelier. And then the desert which was coconut ice with a white chocolate coating and topped with home made vanilla ice and fresh exotic fruit, what a treat! A very good dinner with my wife for our 1 year anniversary.

Excellent food and great service! The chef came table side on a couple of occasions to check to see if everything was to our full satisfaction. You could sense the pride in his creativity and presentation. It was by far the best meal and value (dollar-wise) we experienced while visiting Bordeaux for the week. Wine selection process was also interesting in that they allowed you entry into their small cellar to select the wine of your choice. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant, outdoor seating, but it was cold when we were there, so we opted for inside and we were the only ones dining inside on a Friday night. Maybe because the restaurant is quite expensive? not sure why more people weren't there. The service was warm and very attentive. The food was delicious and artfully presented. We started with a puree of baby peas with a parmesan mousse on top. The shrimp appetizer was perfectly cooked (served with the heads on). The lobster main course is lobster cooked 3 ways, steak was perfectly cooked. Recommended.

This was the high spot of a stay in Bordeaux that was already excellent!
