Brilliant find! The food was absolutely delicious, first rate, beautifully presented and tasted sublime. The staff were attentive and friendly with an extensive knowledge of the vast amount of local wines on offer. Wholeheartedly recommend and will be back the next time we are in Bordeaux.

Very disappointing. We’d tried several other restaurants - all full and unable to accommodate us. That was, of course, a warning. A sad-looking appetiser was served on disposable plates with wooden forks and looked as though it had sat around for days. In a complete absence of imagination, 3 different mains ordered by our party (beef, pigeon, lamb) came with the same accompaniments. We had been required to order desserts at the same time as starters and mains - possibly because they knew if we experienced the food first we wouldn’t order anything else. All three desserts used the same basic, sad, browning fruit selection - on the worst cafe gourmand I’ve seen, on the side of a poor chocolate sponge and in a sabayon. The restaurant looked grubby, the waiter’s uniform looked grubby, the decor was odd, the bill was extraordinarily high for at best mediocre food.

We went to this restaurant following a recommendation from a Wine Chateau owner we visited. The food was very good and service was fine. A little bit overpriced in my opinion.

Very nice atmosphere and kind staff. Only caveat is that the wine advise was poor. We should have not relied on the young waiter. Ended up spending too much for a wine we didnt enjoy

We were really pleased with both the service and the different dishes. The waiter helped us go through the suggestions of the day. We had three course dinner and had a wonderful evening. We walked away with a smile on our faces.

Very nice menus du Marché that are reasonably priced and very well prepared. Excellent service. The wine list was smaller than I expected and quite pricey but hey, they're located in Margaux after all. The outdoor terrace was most attractive for lunch and the interior is calm, cool old-world classic. We'll return for sure.
