    • Japanse Rib Fingers: Heerlijke malse, zoet pittige spareribs
      Wagyu Carpaccio: Dun gesneden ossenhaas van het Wagyu-rund met een lichte thijmdressing, Grana Padano, gemengde sla, basilicummayonaisedressing en geroosterde pijnboompitten.
      Dynamite Shrimps: Krokante gamba’s in een jasje van beslag met pittige Dynamite saus overgoten.
      Wasabi Prawns: Grote gepelde gegrilde gamba’s met een huidje van wasabi-caesar, op een bedje van gemengde sla met verse mango (beetje pittig, lekker fris).

    • Wagyu Bavette: Botermalse flanksteak van het Wagyu rund. Woorden kunnen het niet omschrijven zulk lekker vlees is het.
      It’s all meat: Proeverij voor 2 personen van 3 soorten biefstuk: Wagyu Bavette, Noord Amerikaanse Teres Major en Zuid Amerikaanse Hereford Steak.
      Teres Major: Heerlijke diamanthaas van het hoge kwaliteit Black Angus rund uit Amerika. Knapperig van buiten en heerlijk zacht van binnen, met gebakken wilde bospaddenstoelen, rode wijnsaus en vers gepofte knoflook
      Salade Americano: Romaine sla met caesardressing, gegrilde gamba’s, uitgebakken ham, croutons, Grana Padano kaas en een licht pittige dressing.

The name says it all: here you eat steak. Perfectly cooked and seasoned well, they understand clearly well! The meat is cooked on a charcoal grill, this makes for a delicious and authentic taste. Fish lovers and vegetarians can also enjoy themselves, here everybody is taken into account.

Lekker vlees. spareribs vooraf heel lekker en het vlees was lekker bereid!
De tiramisu ook lekker. Aardige bediening goede service!

The service was very good and friendly. The first and main courses for both of us were good, and the cabbage pickle salad was very nice. Only two side dishes could be better. The endive (witloof) was being boiled to oblivion and seen a horrible death, and the roast ‘roseval’ potatoes was so oily and mushy you could use them to grease your bike chains.

Two more recommendations. We had to wait for 30 minutes to place our order, another 30 minutes to get our first course, and another 40 minutes for the main course. We didn’t mind really but that was not supposed to take so long. Maybe the kitchen was understaffed on that day. What we cared a bit more was the red (house) wine, the first glass of Shiraz was so shockingly bad, even for the standard of €3,5 house wine in an average restaurant, we had to send it back, first time I ever did that in my life. The second glass of pinot noir was only marginally better. Sure it could be just our taste, maybe other people like them.

Excellent evening at Le Steak. We came with the AH-actie, and nothing to say about the quality. The size of the portions was fair, special thumbs up for the siders: you can ask for a complimentary refill. Appetizers were disappointing, sweet olives were not my taste. Wines were ok, but I would have liked to know how it works first: you are serverd a bottle and charged in the end for how much you drink. The wine was suited for appetizers but not for the meat. A note about the meal: we asked in advance for the lobster and were told it was not available. A bit weird considering we saw several living lobsters in their aquarium. Instead we chose the All you can Meat and no regrets: the meat is of quality, especially the famous Wagyu steak! However, all pieces are served at the same time, and by the time I was finished with one, the others got cold. The service is mixed between young people and the cooks themselves, the latter being extremely friendly and of good advice. The setting is homy, warm and very Christmassy (you better like Christmas songs). Thank you for this lovely evening!
