About the restaurant Le Tripot

A quirky informal little restaurant where the chefs appeared to be very young but very competent- we enjoyed our experience very much. Friendly and efficient service.

The server was very pleasant. I was a little disappointed that we were given the suggested menus, but when we went to order, the items were not always available. My husband ordered the lamb shanks that were in the menu, but they were unavailable. He got the lamb curry, which was the substitution. He said it was good. I ordered the pear and
almond tart for dessert, but that too was unavailable. We were the first table of the night. I am not sure why you offer a menu that clearly cannot be delivered.
Overall the food was good, but I would not go out of my way to eat here.

My wife and I enjoyed our meal at Le Tripot very much. The prix fixe menu was interesting and prices were fair. It was cool and rainy the evening we were there but would have liked to experience the nice outside dining area they also have. Would definitely recommend.
