A traditional bistro in all its splendour: authentic decor, moleskin banquettes, blackboard menus, mirrors, small tables that set a convivial mood. ...

We’ve eaten at Le Troquet for years and loved it. But it’s lost it. Inedible soup. Rillettes like American salmon salad. Mediocre fish presentation. Thank heavens the puree and souffles are still scrumptious. Probably won’t return.
Excellent. Food is delicious and creative. Service friendly and attentive. Decor is cosy
Je recommande vivement !
Traditional french food, very well executed.
Tasting menu was wonderful. Friendly service.
Atrue PArisian bistrot in look, atmosphere, and mostly in the high quality of traditional bistrot food. A wonderful experience.
Delicious and beautifully presented dinner for seven. A charming atmosphere, complemented by a fine and helpful waiter.
Un très bon restaurant !
Friendly and efficient staff. Old style French ambience. Very good food and wine! We will come again.
Lovely dinner. Had the tasting menu and was delicious. Friendly service too.
Très bon restaurant, certes un peu cher mais on en a largement pour son argent.
We went to the place because it is in the Michelin guide. I don't think it deserves the praise.
Very good bistrot food, traditional cooking, very tasty.
We have been going to Le Troquet for a number of years and always had a great experience. This time we were a little underwhelmed; while the food was good it was not as good as we were used to expect. And, the selection was also less than we expected. We still like the place - and we will go back - but .... Who knows, it might have been a less than stellar evening in the kitchen or we might have chosen the wrong things.
I haven't eaten here in a few years. It's still one of the best values in Paris. Great casual food in the basque style. Tonight was nearly an empty house as there a big football match going on. The soufflé was just as good as I remember it
A local favourite for our 2 years in Paris which is rapidly drawing to an end. Been twice in the last week with different visitors to savour the vanilla soufflé. Is a bustling, vibrant place. The service can be a little frenetic but always friendly. Cote de Boeuf (for 2) on the specials board is very Basque and very large! Enough for 4.......
A local favourite and the soufflés are amongst the best we have had whilst living in Paris. Staff are always friendly and helpful but it strikes me that on a busy Saturday night, the two serving staff are just run off their feet and really need a third so you don't feel a little guilty when you ask for things. But that will never stop us going back.
The desserts are outstanding....love the concept!!
Took a couple of friends who wanted to try authentic French cuisine and they weren't disappointed. We had the 3 course set menu for 34 euros which was great value. The meals are heavy but so so tasty. The menu is difficult to decipher for a non-french speaker but attests to the interesting things they have on the menu!
