Le Trumilou

My husband & I go to this restaurant for lunch every time we are in Paris & love its authenticity!! The food is typically French & though simple it is well worth the visit & very good value for money. It’s also in an excellent location between the Ile de la Cite & le Marais!!

Always a wonderful welcome and reliably delicious, well-prepared and presented traditional food of the Auvergne part of France. A family-run restaurant that I have enjoyed visiting for over 25 years

I adore Le Trumilou. The food is genuine and comforting, the service very good, and you are always surrounded by other happy diners! I had duck in stewed prunes, which was marvelous and made me feel like a little kid again. The oeuf à la neige was like something out of a dream - light and perfect in its classic sauce. I couldn't have been happier. Thank you for a wonderful meal, Le Trumilou! I cannot wait to return!

It was brilliant! The food was of excellent quality, the portions were big for a very decent price. The atmosphere is somehow very French. I’ll recommend it to friends and I’ll come again myself

Twice disappointed. Has the potential of being good. Venue is tired. Needs cleaning and updating. I also cannot believe this place has any serious intention of improvement with a pinball machine at the entrance.

Food is always excellent in this low-key Paris restaurant. Service is welcoming and helpful. We love the duck. Best fries. We have come here every time in Paris since 2006!

Lovely local place with authentic French food at very reasonable prices. We had dinner for two with wine and only spent €65... if you’re looking for somewhere down to earth without the frills but good food, book here for sure.

Nice atmosphere, friendly good service, tasty food at a good price. Had the ris de veau, husband had the steak frites, both very good. Would return.

As repeat visitors to Paris, we always seek out this charming old-fashioned restaurant. It's just a little way off the beaten track so it's not quite as overrun with tourists as the more obvious places, and well worth seeking out for its always-satisfying classic dishes. Prices are really reasonable too.

Lovely restaurant with good old French decorations. Family run, excellent service. Simple yet good French food, a la bonne franquette as we say in French!

I've been eating at Trumilou for 10 years. Prices have stayed low, but portions have gotten smaller. Still, really good value for the price!
