Le Viet is a lovely restaurant that provided us with relief from traditional Central European restaurant fare. I mean, wiener schnitzel is good, but after a while... We eat Vietnamese cooking fairly regularly in the States, and Le Viet stands up to the best. Besides the wonderful food, the service and atmosphere were terrific. The location is three or four blocks from the very center of the Innere Stadt, which, come to think of it, is not such a bad thing.

The waitress was in an extremely bad mood. She didn’t smile and barely talked to us (no thank you, you’re welcome or enjoy your food). She also spend a lot of time on her phone looking and smiling at pictures…We have never felt this unwelcome in any restaurant before. The food was very good but couldn’t take away from how uncomfortable we felt.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Waitress was lovely, friendly and very attentive, even as the only waitress. Food was some of the best we have ever had. Highly recommend.

Great find! Food is delicious and the owner is friendly. Would visit again. Recommended to anyone who likes Asian food. Wine was also good except that I was given an inferior year than stated on the menu (hence I over paid for what I was given)
