Have been before and the food was excellent. Today was a disaster. They did not have our reservation (through La Fourchette) registered. The food was not good - bland. We were told just before the lunch was served that what we ordered was no longer available and we were offered steaks instead. All three steak were over cooked. Service very long, the food wasn't good. Following a superb lunch there a couple of months ago - a real disappointment. Have to assume Chef and Manager were away today but a real pity.

If you are going to eat frog legs anywhere in Paris, let it be here....additionally the escargot is wonderfully cooked and served out of the shell....definitely take the goat cheese, while not the prettiest is one of the best but do keep in mind it has leeks

The chef is wonderfully hospitable and took time to meet us and serve us and explain the dishes to us...don't expect this on a busy night though, we went on a Wednesday

Excellent lunch in this "bistro" - the server though needs to remember the orders for each table, not that this deterred from an enjoyable and delicious lunch with a good bottle of wine !
