Hard to find somewhere to eat in Lyon on a Sunday night but this small restaurant in hotel Mercure by Lyon Part Dieu station was a welcome surprise - great French food - we had a lovely meal with excellent wine

The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was good and filling and was presented well. We did not find a great choice of red wines by the glass and we did not find a great wine but the two we chose were OK. They were missing a great Languedoc wine or two. The huge television on the wall playing was very distracting for a restaurant and would be more appropriate in the bar area.

Really good food. When we arrived they did not know about our reservation through the fork, but quickly made a plan and gave us a table. Good food, service and ambiance.

I did't like the place much, no particular ambiance. Tables close to each other so hard to have privacy. Also, it is situated in the hotel, that I was not aware while booking at first. We just took several tapas, they were very average. To sum up, so and so. PS. To enter, you must go though the hotel hall, not that obvious at first.
