Fantastic wine bar with lovely French food. The menu is smaller, which I prefer, so you know everything will be good. They do a wonderful job pairing wines with the courses and always let you try a sip before committing to the glass. Service was friendly but slow, but this is France and that’s common so go, relax, and enjoy a good meal with wonderful wine pairings. I had the appetizer of the day- a lentil soufflé and pork with some of the best potatoes I’ve ever had. Food was good and the main portions are on the larger side.

Our host Eric (who is only there on Fridays and Saturdays) was wonderful and kind. For starter, the ravioli prawn was tasty. For a main dish, the pork was so good. It came with potatoes that my wife loved. For desert, the tira misu was delicious.

I booked here as I'd read great reviews & it was in a quieter spot away from the main tourist bustle of Nice. I was very warmly greeted & was sat inside which was perfect on a hot evening. I was then offered 2 samples of white wine to start, which was nice & allowed me to choose my preference, this was served with three crostini & spread which unfortunately wasn't very crisp & fresh. The menu was simple but offered plenty of options, I ordered the cheese with truffle & bread to start, which was simply a slice of delicious cheese on a plate with some bread, followed by the pork chop. This came with superb dauphinoise & a selection of well flavoured summer vegetables & jus. The meal was enjoyable, but I felt it lacked in culinary depth & I found the meat a little dry. I would have had dessert, but as it wasn't offered, the moment passed! All in all a very pleasant evening in a busy little establishment, if you're after a simple French meal in a relaxed environment I can recommend.

Love the service, was so wonderful the moment we arrived. Ambiance was so much of what we had hoped for. As was the food, absolutely fantastic. I keep thinking about it, the Foi gras was melt in your mouth with a delicious chutney to compliment every bite. The Duck and the pork chop were memorable. Service absolutely Stellar!! They are very happy to please. In a great location and off the beaten path. Memories made. Thank you!!

What a lovely restaurant! The ambiance was just perfect. It was a busy evening during visit but in a good way. You can tell everyone was enjoying themselves and with some repeat customers which made us feel comfortable and reassured of what to expect, and the food did not disappoint. Would highly recommend this to anyone in Nice and if I was to visit again I wouldn't hesitate to visit this restaurant over and over again.

Really not what it was and u less you are a local do not expect any level of good service. 2 years ago it was the best restaurant experience we had had in a long time. This time we were pretty much dis-regarded. Left with no drinks, no wine experience and told things were out of stock yet watched them being taken to tables of known customers that arrived after us. Put a real downer on holiday as we couldn’t wait to return here but won’t return again unfortunately

We enjoyed our starter and main course very much. Service and hospitality waS lovely and carrying. With no room for dessert, we got offered a cheese which we almost declined. But luckily we agreed and had the best cheese experience of our life. The combination with champagne rose was amazing.

This restaurant is a gem. I was welcomed warmly, even though my husband couldn’t come at the last minute and our reservation was for 2 people. The winter menu was amazing. The wine choices are a bit overwhelming, but the wine descriptions were good. Their Gorgonzola Gnocci was smooth and melted in your mouth. The sea bream was cooked perfectly, with a great blend of flavors, including a wonderful olive tapenade. The only disappointment was dessert. I found the crem brûlée wasn’t the best choice.
