Been going to Cris:s since it was established. Always bustling and very attentive staff and excellent food. What a change. Food was still excellent but only 6 couples there - no atmosphere as in the past. The staff were very efficient. but far more 'reserved' than their predecessors. The obvious missing persons were Anna and Cris. If the new management failed to reemploy Anna they are paying the price with under performing numbers.

Legacy Lounge used to be Cris's which was excellent.visited often over many years. When we booked we were not told Cris's no longer existed. The food was mediocre, a poor imitation of cris's menu. The place was almost empty (unheard if in cris's day) and the staff tried their best, but were struggling. They should set up their own website and not capitalise on cris's, which is very misleading.

Not as good food as in Cris' . Seems that the Chef does not have enough knowledge or the funds to do exiting and tasty dishes. To much Mint sauce. Perhaps what English people like, but no gourmet taste at all.

A beautiful restaurant with a terrific view overlooking the ocean. We had the 3 course concept menu. The food was delicious. This was our third time here, and we will be back again.

We have eaten at Chris’s twice previously and we were not disappointed on our 3rd visit. Despite change of ownership the food and accompanying wines remained of high quality. We had the special concept dining consisting of 3 courses with paired wines and the quality of both food and wines were excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. We will def be returning next year when we visit Madeira again Sue H
