Nice meals, with excellent wines. One of us was vegetarian and was very well treated with alternative suggestions. It was a quiet evening, but very pleasant. This is a wine restaurant so make sure you ask for thier suggestions: these are amazing!

We went to Lemongrass by AH restaurant actie. Everything was very tasty, beautiful presentation and people who work there are very professional. Impressive wine card and good atmosphere.

My third lunch in this cozy restaurant which has a nice view over the harbor. The menu is of excellent quality, service is nice and relaxed and the atmosphere is perfect with family and friends but also for business. Moreover, there are not many restaurants in Den Haag that serve good quality lunches like this.

A really lovely place at the edge of harbour with a nice atmosphere. Great for a nice sunset dinner! Food: Starters were really great. Desert was delicious tool. Main course was average (seabass was a bit dry/overcooked). Rest: Tables outside a bit to wobbly. Service: a bit too slow at times.

As on previous visits, the cuisine was excellent. The Albert Heijn menu was rather restricted (choice of only two for each course). We chose both of the starters (carpaccio and mackerel) and both of the mains (roasted veal and grilled salmon), and they were all excellent and well presented with a variety of vegetables and additions. A plus for Lemongrass is that they provide a litre of iced water for a nominal 50c, which other restaurants are reluctant to provide. Another plus is the view over the harbour and easy and free parking. The restaurant specialises in wines and they seem to have a massive selection. Well worth a visit.

Had lunch here with4 adults and 2 younger children. The food was very nice and special attention was made to our gluten intolerant guest, even bringing gluten-free bread at the start of the meal. Kids menu is not geared for young children but came with fries and the ice-cream went down well. Service was very good and overall we had a very nice lunch.

Outstanding cuisine, service and location. We enjoyed the €35 menu very much. We were on the restricted-slot Albert Heijn deal, so we had to eat early and the restaurant was empty at first. But it filled up and the atmosphere was good. A very fine restaurant, one of the best we know in The Hague.

Lunch: we are pleasantly surprised by the combination of tastes that the cook has let us taste. The lunch menu had a nice combination of fish. The flavors around it were beautiful. The wine list is nice and rich. In short, a taste experience that there should be!

The ambience is spacious and bright, the view over the harbor is pleasant. We recommend you to visit a lunch at Lemongrass!

You can be sure of a decent meal at Lemongrass, but sometimes it really excels and, last Saturday, with the Chef's meal, the Vitello Tonnato was one of the best we have ever eaten coming with a delightful array of accompaniments to tease the eye and the palate. This was followed by a perfectly cooked piece of fish with foie gras and beurre blanc. The main course was a tasty entrecote with a selection of accompanying vegetables. Cherries filled with white chocolate mousse followed, creating a light and pretty dessert with the Stracciatella ice-cream. Included in the meal are a tasty gazpacho amuse-bouche, warm bread served with olive oil, sea salt and balsamic vinegar plus, later, a pre-dessert that cleansed the palate beautifully. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable and every course was delicious. The wines that were served as part of the wine accompaniment complemented the food perfectly. All in all, it was a perfect evening overlooking the marina as we sat enjoying the last of the day’s sunshine.

We had an offer 2-3 course meals for one. We got a limited choice of 2 different meals: meat or fish. The meat dish was defensively not my taste. It was supposed to be steak but it was more carvery with a dull taste. The mashed potato didn't taste nice either.
The waitress took my plate to the kitchen and then I got the fish which was OK but not very nice. The starter and the desert were fine but not something special. I ate here once before and then I had a better impression of the food. This special offer did not do the trick for me. Will not come back.

Me and my man were there for a diner no Tuesday evening, it was almost all full! I think it says a lot, that people know it, like it and come back! it is situated in a nice area of Scheveningen close to the sea haven and you can see all the yachts. The restaurant itself looks also nice from outside!

The food was tasty, especially the duck breast and 5 types of Scottish Salmon! But what i liked the most it was the house wine from Italy... So tasty! I loved it! This restaurant has such a big choice of wines, it is so cool!

The staff was quick and friendly, explained all the dishes, changing everything fast! Also giving compliments to my Dutch knowing i am a foreigner , it was pleasant :)

Thanks for the nice time! I will advise this restaurant for sure!

Its only on nights like these that you realise just how warped and mad a hobby can make you. Picture the scene: Sat morning, Edith comes to visit and I´m sitting on a chair in the living room polishing 20 pairs of shoes. “Why do you have so many, and why are they all black ?”. “Well, because once you wear a shoe from this producer you can´t buy a pair from anyone else.” Unfortunately though the good things in life seem to get more expensive and at 350 to 450 euro a pop, these are out of my league now, so I have to look after the ones I have (which are getting very old and tatty). Fast forward 2 weeks and Jelle and I are sitting looking at the famous wine list here. “Jeez…Look at price of the 06 Montrachet…”, “I know”, I reply “Unbelievable. How on earth is that possible”..”And the Batard – can you believe that ?” Well know, we couldn´t. The former was the price of a new pair of shoes, the 2nd was under 1/3…Only 1 thing to do – order them both. And then a red, and then another. Add on a few courses of food, some water and you end up with a bill that meant both of us could have been wearing spanking brand new shoes that would have kept us happy for years…Thing is though, this sort of tale happens here all the time, Every wine lover, every collector, every sommelier, they all head down here, they all open the big book and they all forget about the boring, sensible things in life and for an hour or 2 ( or 4) we live in wine heaven. Great stuff and even better is the fact that you can have fun here even if you don´t have the wine disease.
