I did enjoy going to this iconic Brisbane hotel. The staff were helpful and pleasant and the service for the meals was prompt and professional . The food was tasty and appealingly presented. Disappointing, however was the standard of the coffee which left a lot to be desired as there was no real coffee flavour and it was watery rather than full bodied. I do think the restaurant could have a brighter decor rather than all brown. It would be more appealing with a more colourful celebratory atmosphere.

My husband and I celebrated 51 years of marriage with High Tea at Lennons Restaurant and Bar this afternoon. The bubbly bubbled, the sandwiches were delicious, the scones were nice and warm as was the service from the attentive staff. We'll be back!

Great central Brisbane CBD location with a good selection of options well prepared and competently served. Unobtrusive and quietly attentive staff. The pumpkin fritter appetiser was a standout - a wonderful combination of flavours.

Had the tasty tender flat iron steak with thick cut chips which were really crunchy. Always relaxing, quiet setting with large windows facing the mall. Attentive friendly service.

We have had a lovely time, and more. We had special dietary requests for the birthday girl. The birthday meringue with fresh dragon fruit & kiwi is the best & most creative idea a kitchen has come up! Her sister & her also polish the apple crumble made especially for them. Granna, a great cook herself, loves the chocolate slices. Their mother couldn't say which one she enjoys more, but everything! I could eat up all the Mango treats by myself. Staff was great! The only thing I'd say is re: sandwiches. The same simple tip I have given elsewhere & taken up : do not leave sandwiches out too early, wrapped up in a plate with cling wrap, only take them out before serving. The air dries the surfaces of those lovely sandwiches, it really diminishes the enjoyment of them, which is a pity. Otherwise, thank you for providing the perfect high tea for a birthday girl who is lactose intolerant but loves eggs. :)

What a lovely find Lennons was. We rarely go into the City and were so pleased we decided to. The service could not be faulted and the food was divine. Serving sizes were ample and the combination of flavours was perfect. It was a perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Highly recommend.

Our small friends' company had an excellent late lunch time at Lennons on Saturday, meals were very nice and at a good price. We finalised our outing by having cocktails outside on the terrace. The waitress and barman were very welcoming and easy to talk to. Nice memorable experience, I would recommend your restaurant to anyone.

It was the first time to this restaurant, food was really nice, but waited so long for it nearly walked out, it wasn't even that busy, the tables were scratched and the place gave an overall dirty feel, just not what we expected really, waited long for our drinks too, a bit of a disappointment, but the food was really good.

The fish lunch special arrived with an inedible green accompaniment, which means the small piece of fish with nothing else edible on the plate cost $23. I was still hungry. The wines are at a premium price as well. The service was not as expected after our original waitress disappeared. I have been there before & had a very nice lunch special, but this was so disappointing for my birthday lunch. .

This restaurant is located right in the centre of the Brisbane CBD - opposite of Myer Centre. It's a hidden gem for business meetings. Very professional services and good plate of food prepared at the open kitchen.

Great service. Food was tasty even though incorrect cut of meat served up. Not that it bothered me too much, but the manager addressed it right away. Happy to visit again.

The pizza we had as an appetiser while waiting for our main course was awesome. However, the lamb shared plate was a huge disappointment. For a $65 dish, the plating lack excitement. The lamb was very fatty. The grilled egg plant was bland and not tasty and we tried hard to eat those. The lamb looked as if it was cooked right Both, juicy and slightlu pink but both my partner and I had a hard time cutting up the lamb with the steak knives and we struggled with the chewing. It is either a bad cut of meat or just a bit tad undercooked? I had to cut/tear away chunks of lumpy fats away with difficulty as well and my whole experience was tainted by the lamb. I am not sure if it was because we booked in via the 50% Fork promotion and thus the disappointing main course. We chose this restaurant based on all the beautiful reviews it has. I hope it was a one-off issue as the service was quick, efficient and super friendly. A shout - out to our waitress Kaitlynn who was not only patient with our daughter but also chatted with her and made her feel special and important. Overall, we may visit again but will not try the share plate again.

Excellent 50% of food deal, much smaller menu selection than when we had lunched here previously, desserts very expensive, but the creme brûlée was very good. Restaurant ambience is light and airy, modern and minimalist, but very noisy.
