First class restaurant serving quality food in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. The desserts in particular were fantastic. Located less than 2 miles from the Brittany Ferries terminal so ideal for a enening dinner before taking the ferry to Portsmouth.

We enjoyed. Good service and excellent food. Portions on the large side. One course ample for the average eater.

Visited this restaurant twice for dinner before the crossing back to the UK. The cuisine is very good, with tasty, well-prepared dishes. The service is excellent despite the restaurant always being quite busy (so booking advisable).

Visited this restaurant on our way to the car ferry for lunch as rated no 2 in Ouistreham. We enjoyed our lunch but slightly disappointed that there was no 'menu de jour' which we usually find excellent and good value. Service was quick and very friendly and the food we had was good.

It was exactly what we expected - good french fare. Not too fancy, tasty and enjoyable. Generous portion sizes. Pleasant service. It was full with apparently local clientele so if you want to go on saturday evening we recommend to book.

The meal was a very high standard for the price. Service was attentive and although we only had a pichet of red wine, which was also excellent considering it was only 9 euros for 50cl, the waiter topped up our glasses when required. A nice touch.
The meal, finished off with a coffee gourmande came to just over 50 euros for the 2 of us. Remarkable!

I don't really want any Brits to find this place, I love it so much. It's about half a mile inland from the harbour, most people awaiting the ferry go to one of the very average places there. As I have done for years. I found this place in January and loved it, went again last night and just as good. An unusual menu but wholesome and excellent quality food brilliantly prepared, at great prices. Lovely decor and ambience and service understated, knowledgeable and unintrusive. I ate alone and rather than being stuck in a corner I was given a window table. I really can't speak highly enough of this place. Both times I have been it has been packed with locals - booking advised!!!

My husband and I had a lovely meal here on Saturday night. the restaurant was quaint and very French . The owners and all the staff were very good kind and helpful ; nothing was too much trouble . They arranged for me to have some of the potted meat to take home even though it became apparent that they did not usually sell it . I ordered the lamb shank and my husband had the chicken dish both of which we enjoyed. We would however have preferred some steamed/ boiled vegetables rather than the side salad and this is the only reason I didn't mark the quality of the dish as very good. I would definitely go back again and would have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant to anyone.

Lovely welcome and the staff were very attentive throughout. Found the menu a little strange - no obvious starters. What was on offer seemed too much for a starter. There was a reasonable choice for mains - one of us had duck and the other, steak. Both dishes were presented well but sadly not very well cooked.

Looking on trip for a restaurant for our last meal in France before the ferry, this lovely typically French restaurant fitted the bill perfectly. The service was friendly and unobtrusive, the food exceptionally good, we had excellent lamb shank with dauphinois potatoes and salad, and the chicken breast in mushroom sauce, both delicious. Followed by a crepe each and washed down with a lovely recommended red wine. A really good find, would definitely revisit next time in the area.

definitely a good choice when in Ouistreham, very good food and not excessive pricing - far better all round than the alternatives nearer the port.

Excellent traditional french style food. Service great too. A bit dated decore and basic facilities but this is a family venture and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
