About the restaurant Les Canailles du Châtelain

FRENCH CANAILLES - Greg and Morgan held before the L'Emile restaurant in the Louvre area in Paris. After arriving in Brussels, they were immediately charmed by the cosy atmosphere of the Châtelain district.

RESTAURANT-BISTRO - Morgan and Greg bring us the French cuisine of the Parisian bistros besides the one of their grandmothers.

AS A POTLUCK - A delicatessen board, a bone marrow, deep fried smelt with tartar sauce, chopped raw crayfish, black pudding, charollais burger with goose liver, mille feuilles or chocolate tatin pie... that's Les Canailles du Châtelain!

Lovely setting in the garden, perfect for a dinner al fresco in summer. Lively place, lots of young people and service until late, it felt like being somewhere in Southern Europe. But waiting time was beyond acceptable and the food rather disappointing for the price we paid. Might go back for a drink, but not for food.

Worst dining experience in a very long time. Loud hard rock music from the upstairs tenant made dining outside unbearable, which brought us inside the restaurant: totally depressing, surrounded by deep greasy fumes from the kitchen (just 13 feet away); ok food; miserable wine list. A very depressing dining experience; best moment was leaving the restaurant and breathing some fresh air.
