Delious, authentic, perfectly prepared French Cuisine. Very reasonably priced as well. Sevice was attentive and prompt. They pleasantly accommodated Englush speaking patrons Definitely a local favorite as the dining room was filled to capacity and we were the only tourists.
This restaurant is a hidden gem that is well worth finding off the beaten path! Would definitely go again.’

Fantastic. We are here 5 years ago and had had such a wonderful dinner that we wanted to return. We were not disappointed. It is off the typical tourist map, mostly locals eating there.... yet we were so warmly welcomed. The food is amazing, and very low prices by Parisian standards. Order the large beef or lamb platter which will feed 4 adults easily.

We had a really good meal here on the recommendation of the manager of the apartment where we stayed which is across the street. Nice authentic feeling Bistro that is not touristy (no English menu), but accommodating to non-French speakers. On the night we were there probably a 70/30 mixture of French clients vs tourists. We ate two fish dishes which were really good. Service was quick and friendly.

If you are in Paris and want a relaxed and amazing experience please try this place. It is pure French and the staff are extremely accommodating to non French speakers (a very welcome thing for me trying my old French skills!!) The Cote De Bouef sharing main is truly amazing and I would challenge anybody to find better. The restaurant has a lovely feel and is extremely relaxing. If you are after fine dining this isn't your place but if you want true French cuisine served by attentive and welcoming staff in a great environment then this is a must! A true gem of a place!

Loved, loved, loved the food! Service to take order (even for drink) was super slow, asked for the bill twice before we even got it. Was fine as we were not in a rush but still took a long time

We took a chance on Les Galopins because we wanted a French restaurant in the neighbourhood within a certain budget--and so happy we did! The dishes were simple but delicious, made with fresh, quality ingredients. The bavette was tender and juicy but my favourite was the carmelized onion tart with St. Marcelin cheese. So yummy! We'll definitely be back.

Very nice restaurant, with a large choice of wine to pair with the lovely food. We had the foie gras of the house and it was really good. Steaks were also excellent. They don't have English menu (it didn't bother me as I was able to translate the menu to my colleagues) but I am sure that the waitress will help non french speaker.

Lovely spot we found just steps from place de Bastille - Helen and Olymp were warm and welcoming on a rainy night and super helpful with our selections ! I asked if the fish was fresh (not always the case on a weekend) and Olymp explained she was the one who had cleaned it so she knew exactly when it came in! We both had dish dishes which were excellent - and the salad with foie gras was a great starter. We will be back again!

We recently tried this restaurant with some relatives. The location is handy and the place nicely decorated but a bit loud. We have been disappointed by the dishes, especially the lack of choice of the sides and the impossibility of mixing them. And the service was awful. One of the waitresses was constantly grumpy and rude. Regarding all of them: they just did not care about the customers. Please make an effort and pretend to care! A few mistakes made and the feeling to bother them. We will not be back there.
